If you been here before, you know how healing and special this space is!
My hale is nestle beneath the mauka and sits above the makai, a balance of mountain and ocean. The sun appears on the horizon every morning, consistently and reliably, without fail. And when the full Mahina lights the sea, it is magical. And on occasion a rainbow or two will paint the sky!

The winds came strong,
the rain came down,
and my crown flower tree
began to bend toward the ground.
Its branches swayed,
its blossoms danced,
and through the storm
I heard their voice by chance.
“Pick me now,
before I fall.
Take me with you,
and remember us all.
We may not last
through wind and rain,
but in your hands
we’ll bloom again.”
So I gathered each flower
with love and care,
saving their beauty
before they disappeared.
Sometimes nature whispers
before it lets go—
“Take me with you,
so my beauty can still grow.”
