I wrote this in my notes page a little while back and it's still bouncing around my head. With the new algorithm changes announced, trying to sell us customisation of what suggested content we receive but still not actually seeing anyone we follow, as well as my own experience with censorship over the last couple of years, I felt inclined to share these words in case they rang true for anyone else. Instagram sent me a book in 2012 or thereabouts, which I still have, called #communityfirst - whatever happened!? by @hal___haines

First proper day back in the studio in so long, casting tulip lampshade orders.
