Everyone is trying to find the best matcha in #newcastle so I thought why not find the worst one and save your 💰

📍Hakuhaku matcha bar
This was definitely not the worst one and was quite the opposite 😬💚

Although the serving volume felt noticeably less than usual ones so I finished it within minutes. For a matcha, I’d expect a more substantial volume, particularly given the price..

Although i have come to terms that it’s impossible to find a restaurant that serves food which tastes exactly like how the food tastes back at home but I keep on looking for the closest thing I could find.

📍Kozle, Newcastle

Located just a 5-minute walk from Central Station in the heart of the city centre, Kozle is a great spot for authentic Turkish cuisine.

The meat is cooked perfectly, the portion sizes are generous and while it’s slightly on the pricier side the quality and experience make it worth it.

The restaurant was family-friendly and a great choice whether you’re dining with kids or meeting friends.

If you’re looking for authentic Turkish food in the city, Kozle is definitely worth a visit.

If you are in Durham, do check out this beautiful cafe 5 min walk from the gorgeous Durham Cathedral.

There is usually a wait time for 5-10 minutes but it’s worth it.

I had their classic vegan pancake along with a flat white (recommended)

The total bill was around £19

This Sunday market has my heart 💓

There were surprisingly a lot of halal/Vegan options.. if the sun is out please don’t forget to cover up and wear spf :P
