I was very kindly invited to the influencer event at ISO sushi at their stoke on Trent branch, and it was by far the easiest yes!

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and flavor of everything, the sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented – each piece was a perfect bite, with just the right balance of rice and filling. You can really taste the care that goes into the preparation.

The katsu curry was a standout – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with a rich, comforting curry sauce that was full of depth without being too heavy. It’s the kind of dish that leaves you feeling satisfied but not overwhelmed.

I also tried the yakisoba, and it did not disappoint! The noodles were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, with a nice mix of vegetables and just the right amount of seasoning.

Whether you’re a sushi lover or just looking for a comforting Japanese meal, Iso Sushi is definitely worth a visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

All the way from Dubai, Chicking have opened in Stoke on Trent 🇸🇩🇬🇧

I was kindly invited to try out their menu and I was presently surprised, the chicken was succulent and packed with flavour, it was just the perfect amount of crispy. The bucket which consisted of burgers, chips, wings and chicken pieces was very worth the price and definitely filled us all up as the portions are very generous, can’t wait to pay them another visit and try more things on their menu ✨

I was kindly invited to Alam restaurant to try out their extensive menu, before even trying the food I was in awe of the interior and attention to detail with the decor 😍 the place was just beautiful, especially the courtyard where we sat.

I honestly can’t fault the food, from the starters to the mains everything was delicious! The kebabs tasted fresh and just the right amount of spices were used, nothing like the frozen shop bought ones. My favourite out of everything had to be the dynamite shrimps, the perfect crunchy coating!

Very excited to go back and try their brunch menu, which I’ve heard amazing reviews about too! 🌸

Just loved the food and vibe of this place, last time I visited was back in 2019 and was not a fan back then. However, this visit has definitely changed my mind, every dish was delicious and service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back soon ✨

~Vanilla rooms~

When a place looks good and tastes good, it very quickly becomes a favourite of mine! Vanilla rooms just had the prettiest decor with the floral ceilings and lit up tables 😍I honestly can’t fault the food and service, my favourite out of everything was the cheesy kebabs and the sticky bbq with masala chips, the portion sizes were very good which took me by surprise as I did not expect it. The drinks were also a hit and quenched our thirst, my favourite drink wherever I go is virgin pina-colada and I can tell a difference when restaurants simply pour out the drink from a carton and ✨dash ✨a piece of pineapple on the side 😂

For dessert we got the stacked pancakes with chocolate and strawberries, this was just the icing on top and we devoured it. Can’t wait to visit again and try other dishes.

I was really looking forward to this place however I was slightly disappointed. The menu is very limited and the mains were just standard tbh. The starters were good especially the mini burgers we throughly enjoyed those. Overall I would say the interior and service is better than the actual food itself.

The perfect location for a cute Valentines/Galentines date night 🥰 loved the decor and service at Ribeye.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙩:
-Chefs platter(£20)
-Oven baked chicken supreme(£20)
-Truffle gnocchi(£5)
-Mac and cheese (£4.50)
-Sweet potato fries(£4)
-Autumn Pearl mocktail(£6)
-Pink cloud mocktail(£6)

The chefs platter consisted of bbq ribs,chicken wings,prawns,halloumi and a selection of dipping sauces. I would say that it’s very worth the price as from the video and pictures you can see the platter was FULL! Out of everything I preferred the wings as they were soft and tender, the meat just fell of the bones. The ribs were also heavily marinated and lathered in the bbq sauce ( my fingers were a mess by the end of it😂)The mac and cheese was a very big let down as it was really bland and dry 🤷🏽‍♀️ and would’ve been better with a bit more cheese and salt. The chicken supreme was nice but not something I will rush to get again.

If you’re ever in Birmingham and want to try soul food you should definitely try ladypool road. There is a variety of food places there, all different in their own way. I spotted Chickaros and was really intrigued as they do Asian style stir fry donner and I wanted to see if they would beat spice hut🥵

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅:
Opted for the full hot shot chicken Parmesan( £22), Kebabish mania (£18), BBQ sticky wings (£6.50), creamy mash (£3),Blue lagoon (£5.95)

I’ve noticed the portion sizes of food outside of London are MASSIVE! Every single dish from Chickaros was big BIGG!! I just about had 1/4 of the hot shot Parmesan, which I have to say was my favourite out of everything, the flavours were just amazing and the signature spicy wedges embedded at the bottom of the chicken complimented it well. The donner was just lacking something and too sweet and saucy in my opinion, I think I visited on a wrong day…The BBQ wings were good quality wings and had the right balance of bbq coating. The mac and cheese was a big let down for me as it was really watery and the spring onions left a weird aftertaste and didn’t go well with the cheese 🤷🏽‍♀️

After ordering we did have to wait over 45 minutes for the food which was about disappointing . I will definitely be returning and trying other dishes they have to offer.

The first time I tried a cheesy knafa was in Marmaris and since then I’ve just been craving it and been on the lookout for one that can even get close to it 😭 when I heard the reviews about Mr knafa and how good it was I just had to try it! I was soo engrossed in the knafa that I forgot to take a picture of it and do a cheese pull 😂 it was one of the best ones I’ve had and is definitely up there with the one I had in Marmaris. The caramel milk cake also caught my eye but I was a tad bit disappointed with the flavours, it just was lacking something.

I was kindly invited to Shakstack to try and review their menu. We opted for the crazy fries, classic cheeseburger and the get stacked burger. The burgers were filled with so much flavour and were very juicy! I thoroughly enjoyed every bite😋 My favourite was definitely the get stacked burger🔥 The crazy fries also did not disappoint! It was loaded with a beef crumble, chillies, onions and their signature crazy sauce which was delicious😍
Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you’re a fan of smash burgers like me.
