First time visiting @pizza_geeks and won't be long before we're back. Get there early to ensure that the items you want aren't sold out to avoid disappointment as many of our first choices weren't available. As good as the pizzas were the Super Saiyan Dragon Balls were a great accompaniment. Look forward to going back.

Trying out some of the new dishes on the menu @dishoom. The tiramisu has come to Dishoom as a chai-misu. Epic! Easily enough for 4 people. by @halalihippos

Great time in Glasgow at the weekend with a visit to two coffee favourites in the Southside, @parallelcoffee.roasters and @zennor.coffee.

Also managed a visit to @qasba_gla for the very tasty brunch options. All very recommended.

Inexplicably Scotland seems to have had a few good days of summer and need to make the most of it while it lasts.

With that in mind, had to make it along to @peacocksicecream for the limited edition special 'Ode to Pollokshields' mango ice cream. This is the real deal, made with the Pakistani Chausna Mango aka the 'King of Mangoes'. The ice-cream is honey-sweet and with the mangoes in peak season it is a must have. taken in Glasgow, Scotland. by @halalihippos

One of the highlights of visiting @vam_east was @cafejikoni. The whole menu looked so intriguing and it was all halal. The symphony of flavours created by the team was superb. It is impossible to chose a favourite. If I lived in London, I would come back to eat the rest of the menu.

So often a great meal is let down by the sub par coffee but even here @cafejikoni knocked it out the park with their coffee from @workshopcoffee. It worked particularly well as a filter. by @halalihippos

If not sure what to order at @tamini.lebanese.bakery go for the breakfast for two option. Comes with a very generous range of food and two teas. It's not on the menu board so need to ask for it and this was the first time anyone asked for it 🤗

The manakhish flat breads were exceptional, especially the mohammara.

Well worth the visit when in Fulham.

Sometimes all the hype is justified. The cruffin @fredbakery was super crisp and flavourful without being too sweet. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the filter coffee too. And lovely service in Holborn. by @halalihippos

Looking for an authentic Thai place in Edinburgh? Check out @kaithai.uk. Both takeaways and dining in available and the menu is fully halal with veggie options available. The Thai Green Curry and Beef Noodle Soup were very flavoursome and had generous portions.
