#artvsartist2025 + 2025 recap!!! 💜

2025 felt like a decade with 10,000 core memories and a lot of growth:

this year:

- i learned new things through crazy projects in illustration and animation that really pushed me and my skills as an artist.

- I defended my thesis project: pareidolia a visual songwriting kit that is basically a fusion of the two things i love most: music & design. it also had the honor to be awarded best thesis 🥹💜

- i finally graduated (after a lot of detours)! but a wise designer once said, the path i’m on now would not be what it is now without those detours. i also moved out of my condo and went back home!!!

- boothed in new places and met a lot of new people because of it!! thank you to everyone who visited and got my art <3 grateful to be surrounded by amazing creatives that inspire me to keep learning new things with my craft.

- a year of full of music, growth & new chapters w/ @ozo.online and team !! and craziness, creating & and some illustrating w/ @izzymariano and deformers band!!

- got to travel and make so much memories with family & friends and so many new adventures!! love u

a year of exploration, new chapters and a whole LOT of lessons! i’ve learned not to be too hard on myself and cut myself SOME SLACK, and totally understood to a deeper level that life is indeed NOT a race 😆 did a lot of illustrating and animating, and continuing to grow in it, but i think for next year, maybe i’d like to revisit photography and photo manipulation again #backtomyroots !!!!

Anyways, thank you to everyone who’s been part of my yr, cheers to 2026 <3 happy new yr 🥳🎊

RECALL out now, stream everywhere 🌐 links in stories + bio

Eager to hear about every little thing this new song makes you feel. Have you begged someone not to move on? Have you pulled away just to hurt more? Have you feared that when things end, you’ll ache twice as much as the other?

Recall + There, There + Sweater are singles from our upcoming 5-track EP, “At Your Door” 🏠

bts videos by @_gabibechtel_ Recall is an Alternative R&B ode to the turning point of a relationship which often defines whether or not it can carry on. OZO proceeds to flesh-out their new sound inspired by Dijon, Daniel Caesar, and Faye Webster, as they build towards an EP emphasizing all the depth and beauty of the mundane. by @halarcs

A liiiiittle too close to home, if you couldn’t tell by the giddiness 😂. It’s been giving us great warmth fleshing out the themes we’ve been exploring in our recent songs: Sweater, There^2, and this next one dropping at midnight, “Recall.” Ironic, we feel more gravity with our music now that we stepped back and emphasized mundanity, and that’s really just because we’re writing about our truths, our pains, and every beautiful thing from the core to the fringes of being human. “Recall” demanded a level of honesty from us which we were glad to have squeezed out, because now, we’re excited to hear all the little things it makes YOU feel!

“Recall” drops on all your favorite streaming platforms this midnight, and we’re happy to promise you that we have much more in store. ❤️ by @halarcs
