🌊 πŸ’Œ πŸ“¬ Ahoy mateys! I hope everyone's Mizucon experience was as fantastic as mine! I got to test out so many brand new things with this display and create tons of new merch, yet I still have so many things I look forward to changing and upgrading! I was also so impressed by every artist at the show, I spent lots on art ^~^ Thank you to every single person who took the time to stop by my booth, and to everyone who made this event possible to begin with. Hope to see you all again soon! Maybe even for Mizu's sister event, @animeiwai πŸ‘€#mizucon #floridaconvention #artistalleybooth #localartist Would you come to Mizucon next year?🌊 by @halbert_halbert_

We did it! I co-directed a film for my capstone project @magic_mdc for the @frostscience museum and it was the greatest experience. I am so lucky to have helped bring this to life as I have been a fan of frost (and science)! For as long as I can remember. Thank you @alecistheone for mentoring this project, I am inspired to try and keep working with and learning about planetariums :) Also special thanks to @sashiushinsky and @lord.penumbra for all the help throughout this project, and @theloonfromthemoon and @theriverastyx for showing up to support πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈβ€πŸ”₯β€οΈπŸ’•πŸ™Œ (you guys rock) taken in Frost Science Museum by @halbert_halbert_

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡ΊπŸ’™ CUBAN MIKU! I made this Cuban-inspired Hatsune Miku illustration for @miamiloid 's 39 Magic Miku celebration! πŸ₯³ As my first time participating in a stamp rally! πŸ’ŒπŸ“¬πŸŒŠ I hope I'm able to do more in the future because working with so many talented artists was really fun. This piece is now available as a 5Γ—7 print in my Etsy shop! πŸ’™β™₯️ Thanks for the support and patience, I definitely should have printed more for the event because they sold out within the first hour(; 030)~! If you read this far, thank you! Have a great day!πŸ‡¨πŸ‡Ίβ™₯️ β›΅tags to ignore :v🧾 #hatsunemiku #artistalley #miamiart #vocaloidfanart #mikugerms taken in Miami, Florida by @halbert_halbert_

Hii everyone!!! This is Hal!! I knew I had to post something for #mikuday !!!! Happy Birthday Miku πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰ you have inspired me since I was a child and continue to motivate me to keep pushing forward πŸ«΅πŸ’˜πŸ’ŒπŸŒŠ ~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ I had lots of people speak to me recently about feeling like "posers" or that they "aren't knowledgeable enough" to be in the vocaloid community, so I'll say the thing I always do. HATSUNE MIKU & FRIENDS IS FOR EVERYONE!!! She can be anyone and anything and all Mikus are cannon. 🫢 So I present to you my silly sailor-themed Cryptonloids! β›΅πŸŒŠπŸͺΈπŸͺΌ ~~~~~~~~ I made tons of new vocaloid stuff lately. This was my first attempt at making large (2.25"inch) pins! I am pretty proud of how they turned out since I made them entirely at home (^~^) ~~~~~~~~ Also, during the @miamiloid event Friday, people were pretty split on which pin was their favorite. (I'm pretty biased towards Rin and Kaito I'm so happy with how they came ouuuut.) ~~~~~~~~ Which vocaloid pin would you get? taken in Hatsune Miku by @halbert_halbert_

All in all I had a wonderful time and I look forward to future events πŸ’™ I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE PICTURES THO Also thank you to my friends who helped me out all throughout the day. Couldn't have done it without the support πŸ«ͺπŸ’•πŸ™ Thank you to the new faces and familiar ones that stopped by my table, no matter how we interacted with each other, I'm just so happy you took the time to stop by! Here's to more adventures! @teaandpoets @shopsatsunset #vocaloid #artistalley taken in Tea & Poets by @halbert_halbert_

πŸ’ŒTHIS ONE IS FOR THE #jojolion FANS 🌊 This was a drawing I didn't think I would ever finish. It took 15 hours over the course of many months, because I couldn't settle on a look and even started from scratch at some point. I'm glad I settled on the scrapbook concept. (Even though it was exhausting practically drawing 3 detailed prints packed into one) (P.S. u can swipe to see the original drafts) I never expected this piece to be the one I'm most proud of. Thank you to my sibling for convincing me to post my drawings again. I'm definitely shy about it. πŸŒŠπŸ’Œ πŸ“¬ πŸ’™ #jojosbizzareadventure #animefanart #artistsupportartists #noaiart Have you read Jojolion? by @halbert_halbert_

β›΅ Some photos from last Saturday (Feb. 28th)! Thank you to @beyondcomicon for always hosting such a heartfelt event. 🌊 I wanted to share some work-in-progress shots of my booth, this display took weeks longer than any setup I’ve ever done, and I’m really proud of how it turned out! 🌊 Huge thanks to @ophiuchus_venus for all the help, my dad @johnvale_tattoos and my little brother, and @flavorkingdom and @joshsartpages for stopping by right before the con ended just to show support. You all rock πŸ’Œ 🌊 Lastly, thank you to everyone who came by my table! Whether you bought something or not, it means a lot that you visited. I wouldn't be here without everyone who's ever lifted me up through the good and bad times, so even if you're not listed here, I earnestly thank you for coming into my life and hope to meet some more of you at the next event! πŸ’™ Sincerely, Arin πŸ“¬πŸŒŠ #artistalleytable #beyondcomicon #miamiartists #southfloridaevents #floridaconventions πŸ’Œβœ¨ taken in Marjorie & William Mcdonald Center by @halbert_halbert_
