A little health & life update
The last couple of months have been a lot.
Two months ago, I had heart surgery for atrial flutter, and during that process it was discovered that I also have atrial fibrillation (AFib). Now my medications need to be changed, which means another hospital stay so I can be safely monitored during the transition. Im really scared.
I’m also navigating how overwhelming life on warfarin can be, including needing INR testing at a lab twice a week. Between appointments, medications, hospital stays, another ablation and trying to figure out what comes next, I’m honestly feeling pretty overwhelmed.

Through all of this, I’m trying my best to find little moments of joy. I’ve been doing small photoshoots when I’m able, making jewelry, spending time with my kiddo, family and friends, and reminding myself to keep living and making the best of life knowing I’m not the first to ever experience anything like this but it doesn’t make it any less scary for me.

If you want to support me, your presence means as much as financial help. A phone call, FaceTime, a walk in the park, craft time, help with laundry or groceries, or a ride to a doctor’s appointment or INR lab can make a huge difference right now.
