I don’t think there will ever be enough words to explain how much this experience meant to me and my basketball loving heart. My heart was absolutely shattered when this guy was traded away (shattered is an understatement if I’m being honest) and now - almost exactly a year since that day - it couldn’t be more full. Luka is genuinely THE most amazing guy and basketball player I have ever had the privilege of loving. Luka, we can’t thank you enough for doing this for us. I will ALWAYS have your back. Forever!!!! Well, never thought I’d be in the AAC repping any team besides the Mavericks, but here we are! 77’s return to Dallas last night was everything I hoped it would be and more. The entire arena was cheering for him & crying with him. (ESPECIALLY me)! The Fire Nico chants were endless and louder than ever (as he deserves). The vibes were absolutely electric, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Seeing the emotions from Luka when watching the tribute video absolutely tore me to shreds. I’ll genuinely never get over this, but it was so good and therapeutic seeing him play live again and putting up 45 points in the arena where fans love him the most. Luka, you have our hearts forever and ever and I will support you no matter what team you are on. The city of Dallas loves you SO MUCH. #77forever #FireNico by @haleykennedy77
