I can’t think of anything that brings my heart more joy than watching my kids experience life. Asa has been in Thailand with a group of young adults volunteering with families who have kids with special needs, and now they are exploring Thailand. If it were possible I think my heart would literally burst with joy ❤️ by @haleymaddox

Heaven is a little brighter these days. My amazing, strong, stubborn, independent, Jesus loving grandma Lou joined my grandpa in the late afternoon on Monday. I was able to spend her last day with her, reading to her, praying for her, brushing her hair, and holding her hand. She was at peace, and was ready to go. She had an amazing life born August 17 1923. She was a month shy of her 103 birthday. ❤️ by @haleymaddox

She did it! @birkleymaddox graduated from South Medford High School! Senior class President, tons of honors and an amazingly bright future! She is headed to Montana State University in Bozeman this fall. I’m SO excited for this next chapter I can hardly contain it. She is Kind, beautiful inside and out, courageous, and so smart. Well it’s happening regardless of how I feel about it. @birkleymaddox will graduate a week from today. The feelings of excitement and joy and anticipation are at the forefront, but there is a tinge of sadness than is running throughout as well. She is ready to take on the world and I’m ready to cheer her on. The future belongs to you my girl, go get it! ❤️ by @haleymaddox

There are only 5 more Sundays (including today) until my girl @birkleymaddox graduates from high school 🤯 I’m so beyond proud of the woman she is becoming. That’s a wrap on @birkleymaddox senior ski season! Even though we had very little snow she was able to get training in at Mt. Shasta, and a couple races in Reno before state at Mt. Hood. Ski team has been a highlight for both Asa and Birkley for many years. The coaching is top notch, and the family involvement is like no other team sport I have been part of. Birks finished the season with several second place medals and a first place medal as well. There is no room for error with ski racing, so to finish at the top is something to be proud of. All of the “lasts” have been hard, but this one is a little extra. ⛷️ 💫 ❤️ by @haleymaddox
