Hi, im Haley a qualified stonemason from Syd, Australia! I finished my apprenticeship in 2025. There is only 12%-15% of women in construction in Australia, and only 1% of female stonemasons!

Ive been trained as a heritage mason. I LOVED helping conserve and restore so many beautiful heritage buildings and sites around SYD.

I now work as a monumental mason in the largest cemetery in the Southern hemisphere

BTS making a custom octopus out of sandstone for a customer 🐙 #stonemason #handmade #australianmade i love watching back videos of me working and finding out ways i can do things better! Maybe use a clamp or make a jig so the stone stops running away from me.. or in another video that i was holding my chisel backwards the entire time.
