Welcome to my little Bookish space where the shelves are organized by color, the coffee pot is always hot, and there is definitely a paperback in my purse!

I can’t wait to share some favorite books and authors with you and hear your faves as well!

You will find lots of fantasy, mystery, and romance reviews on my page for adult and YA books! I share content considerations for spice, profanity, and other themes. My goal is to introduce you to an incredible array of books and authors and empower you to make informed decisions about what you (and your teens) are reading!

Stay tuned for all the chemistry and swoon worthy moments you crave without the spice.. because that’s my favorite thing 🫶🏻

My rating system:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Wouldn’t change a thing or can’t stop thinking about it. These are books that I couldn’t wait to pick up and get back in to. I probably neglected laundry and dishes while I read them!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - may be a small aspect or character I didn’t enjoy. Loved the book and definitely recommend reading it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ - enjoyed it! Probably not a ton of depth. An easy fun read that likely won’t stay with me but I had a good time and I’m still recommending it!
⭐️⭐️ - didnt hate it enough to DNF but not shouting a recommendation from the rooftops.
⭐️- not sticking around on my shelf 🤪

On my feed you will find all 3⭐️ and up recs. I’ll share my 2⭐️ and DNF books in stories with a little bit about why. While I’m happy to share my feedback on them, I’m also not trying to discourage hard working authors and a 2⭐️ for me may have been a 5⭐️ for someone else!
I also post monthly recaps with star ratings for the entire month in one post!

🌶️ “Spice” to me is open door explicit descriptions of intimacy. You will see kisses only, closed door, and fade to black reads on my page all listed as “no spice” in reels.

This book is SO fun! It drops you straight in to the action from page one! The opening scene gave Thor Ragnarok vibes and I was here for it!
This would be such a fun intro to sci fi if you haven’t really dabbled yet. Azure is an enhanced assass*n who gets hired for a protection job. He has an epic dry sense of humor that will have you cracking up! You’ll also find mystery, suspense, and twists. Scion is a super quick read but I feel like the ending (although not a cliff hanger) has the potential for more!

I think this one is definitely teen boy approved but I would say 16+ for violence and gore… although it’s mostly creature/enhanced being gore by @haleysnextchapter

Finally a book for the babies in the family! The eldest daughters get all the love but “Just Jo” was the most endearing and relatable FMC ever as a baby of the family myself. I loved watching Noah let go of expectations he placed on himself and fully give in to his feelings for Jo. I fall more in love with this town and these Characters with each new book in the series.

We all experience grief at different times in our lives. It can be so encouraging to read about characters also in the trenches and see them come out on the other side!

And this ladies and gentlemen is how you write enemies to lovers. I literally had no clue how this relationship was going to be redeemed but boy oh boy was it fascinating to watch 🤌🏻 Never With You is book 1 in a standalone series and book 3 is coming out in October so it’s the perfect time to jump in and follow this friend group as they all work for their HEAs.
