The reminders of you (your fur left on the pillow in bed where you cuddled me every night, your favorite orange ball right where you left it, your nose prints on my car windows from all of our adventures) will eventually go away, but a love this big and profoundly deep will always remain.

To my sweet, sensitive, and empathetic girl-- you've made my life infinitely better. You’ve made the lives of everyone you’ve met better. You will always be an immeasurable part of my soul & I’ll miss you beyond words.

For those who don’t know, Tilly had been battling a brain tumor for about two years now. Her long battle is over, and she can rest peacefully. by @halfpackedhannah

This is one of the coolest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. I met so many cool people, the vibe was immaculate, it was clean, and most importantly the beds had ✨curtains✨

🏠 Tiny but famous: Hallstatt has fewer than 800 residents, but it’s world-famous. China literally built a full-size replica of the village in Guangdong.

🧂 Salty history: It’s home to the world’s oldest salt mine (over 7,000 years old). In fact, “Hall” means salt, and the village’s entire history basically sparkled from salt trade.

🚤 Lake life: Gas-powered boats aren’t allowed on Hallstätter See, so the lake stays super calm and mirror-like. perfect for reflections of the mountains and swans that glide around.

🪦 Sweetly spooky: Because the town is so small, it ran out of cemetery space long ago. They created a “bone house” (Beinhaus), where skulls are decorated with painted flowers and names.

The title of the “oldest restaurant in the world” is contested between two establishments: St. Peter Stiftskulinarium in Salzburg, Austria, and Restaurante Botín in Madrid, Spain. While St. Peter Stiftskulinarium is older in terms of historical origin, dating back to 803 AD, Botín holds the Guinness World Record for the oldest continuously operating restaurant, having been in business since 1725.
