The irony of me copying this caption from Reddit 😂 but this does explain it best, and check this out you guys - I’m citing my source. Try it sometime.

Brie’s and Franco’s agents were sent the script for Better Half for the two to star in back in 2020, they turned it down, and the film was made without them in 2023. Not only does this film take the plot, dialogue, and imagery from the original film, but both films end with the main characters playing the song “2 Become 1” off of the Spice Girls album Spiceworld while accepting the merge.
The thing is, “2 Become 1” isn’t actually on that album - the original filmmakers made a mistake, and the new filmmakers ended up copying that mistake - the same way someone would get caught for cheating on a test.

“kangaroo jack” is a pretty cut and dry shit sandwich of a kids movie with one of the most interesting behind the scenes stories i’ve ever heard in any film. it was originally written and filmed as an r-rated mob comedy called “down and under” with a ton of drugs, sex, and violence. a bunch of the actors claim it was one of their favorite scripts they’ve ever read. shit, i mean they got the legendary christopher walken to sign on to play the villain, it couldnt have been that bad. when the test screenings weren’t going too well, the higher ups realized this movie “snow dogs” had recently made a bunch of money with a cgi dream sequence strategically put in the trailer, the studio opted for the ol bait and switch. they cut out all the swearing, sex, drugs, and violence, shoehorned in a cgi rapping kangaroo dream sequence, and marketed it for kids. the talking kangaroo was so prominent in the trailers, i remember being a kid and being confused when the kangaroo didn’t talk at all. look, all i’m saying is either make a talking kangaroo movie, or a raunchy adult comedy. you can’t have your kangaroo and eat it too, or whatever the saying is. way too much studio interference to give this one a rating. ?/10 📹: @polejom by @halfpastcashed

I tell most people l’ve been doing film reviews for 9 years or so, but that’s actually not true. I was 9 years old when I got this gig from my little brother’s friend whose dad worked at the news station, and I think one day thought to himself “wow this kid’s a nerd.” I remember going on a Meryl Streep deep dive with the camera man, comparing this role to her other films, and him just being like, “ok, but say what she did in the movie.” I was expecting my whole 30 minute rant to be on the news but I was shocked when they just clipped it to be my summary of what it was about. I think this might’ve been my first experience dealing with corporate. Also, I never read the books twice. Who would do that taken in Tucson, Arizona by @halfpastcashed

“Eyes wide shut” isn’t horror, but the circumstances surrounding the filming of it definitely are. I’ve firmly believed for awhile now that this movie was kubrick’s official cause of death, not a heart attack. With trump begrudgingly authorizing the release of a mostly redacted epstein files almost a year ago, and my interest in many artists throughout history suffering extremely questionable deaths immediately after trying to slip hints about secret societies, the occult and the pedophilloic elite growing, this is perhaps the most relevant piece of work of that era, at least to me. This wouldn’t be the first time he’d try to sneak something in, as there’s a big chunk of the population that believe certain numbers, objects and dialogue from the shining are the result of Kubrick trying to apologize for filming the moon landing. Although I don’t really wanna touch that one, this script and the story behind this one are insanely suspicious to me. Firsthand accounts claim to have heard Kubrick 5 or so days before his death screaming “you can’t cut my movie” at studio executives, and if you watch it, it’s extremely obvious it’s not finished. There’s storylines that go nowhere, something he just didn’t do in any of his other films to my knowledge. I doubt this will ever be solved in my lifetime, but it reminds me of the trevor moore death, where he was making sketches involving the same subject matter, and then “fell off a balcony?” If the elite are trying to cover up the fact that some or all of them are involved in secret ritualistic sex cults, they’re doing an awful job at it. There are legends about the 20-25 mins that are missing, but unfortunately they’re just that - legends. I will say, listening to Roger Avary talk about what he thought the cut footage might contain on a podcast a couple years ago while Quentin Tarantino silently stares at the floor was pretty telling. What a world. And this shit still happens all the time. 7.5/10 (because there’s about 1/4th missing) taken in Tucson, Arizona by @halfpastcashed
