Sustainability should be convenient. Not a compromise. We believe making better choices for the planet shouldn’t mean sacrificing the products you love or the experiences you enjoy. It should mean rethinking the way things are made in the first place. That’s why we’re doing things differently at Half Shell Spirits. As the nation’s first spirits brand in a 100% recyclable, paperboard bottle, we’re challenging the status quo and proving that sustainability and quality can go hand in hand. From the bottle you bring to the beach to the spirits you pour at home, we’re on a mission to make more sustainable choices a natural part of everyday life. And we’re proud to support nonprofit organizations working to protect our coastlines, restore oyster reefs & so much more. come with me as we check on oyster reefs with underwater drones 🦪 We recently tagged along with the @choctawhatcheebasinalliance & @emerald_coast_diveclub to check on a submerged oyster reef test site in #destinflorida... and got a firsthand look at the work happening to restore our coastal ecosystems. At Half Shell Spirits, sustainability is part of who we are. We use recycled oyster shells in our filtration process and support efforts to collect, recycle & reuse oyster shells in marine conservation and restoration projects. Organizations, like @choctawhatcheebasinalliance, work with local bars, restaurants, and other partners to collect discarded oyster shells and put them back to work through shoreline restoration and oyster reef rebuilding programs. And, of course, we’re proud to be the nation’s first spirits brand in a 100% recyclable, paperboard bottle. kinda chic to have a vertical oyster garden hanging off your dock 🦪 Made from strings of recycled oyster shells, VOGs create habitat for baby oysters, fish, crabs, shrimp, and other marine life. As oyster spat attach to the shells and grow, the VOG becomes a little living ecosystem & eventually, those shells can be used in larger oyster reef restoration projects. Think your dock needs a VOG? DM us! Organizations, like the @choctawhatcheebasinalliance, collect discarded oyster shells from restaurants & bars, and give them a second life through programs like VOGs and shoreline restoration. At Half Shell Spirits, we’re proud to support organizations working to protect + restore our coastal communities AND we’re proud to be the nation’s first spirits brand in a 100% recyclable, paperboard bottle. Find Half Shell Spirits at your favorite retailer, ask for us at your favorite bar or restaurant, or order online at halfshellspirits.com. Have you ever tried a “shell shot” before? 🦪 This is Half Shell Spirits, the nation’s first spirits brand in a 100% recyclable, paperboard bottle. And if there’s one thing we love almost as much as a good cocktail, it’s talking about oyster shell recycling + marine conservation🐢🌊♻️ Did you know that an estimated 95-97% of oyster shells consumed annually end up in landfills? So next time you order a dozen oysters, ask your local restaurant or bar if they work with nonprofits that collect, recycle, and reuse oyster shells for conservation programs. Those shells can be put back to work helping restore oyster reefs, create habitat, and support healthier coastal ecosystems. Find Half Shell Spirits at your favorite retailer, ask for us at your favorite bar or restaurant, or order online at halfshellspirits.com. Based in Florida, but available nationwide ♻️ Better for the planet. Made for anywhere #sipsustainably taken in Fort Walton Beach, Florida by @halfshellspirits
