There are simply no words that can truly describe how thankful I am for Wingate Softball. It has witnessed my highest and lowest moments, but never failed to pull me back on top. I have just pulled in my shoals home driveway and can’t stop thinking about every aspect of this game that has encouraged me to become the person I am today. Softball, thank you for giving me lifelong friends and lessons that I’ll use till I’m old. To my coaches, thank you for taking a chance on a kid who never thought she would make it to this level because of the people who doubted her. To my teammates, thank you for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. To my parents, thank you for the countless weekdays and weekends at the field, pushing me to my highest potential. To everyone else in my life, friends, family, thank you for the countless support from home. I will forever remember all of the memories with these girls. I pray that WUSOFT continues to build this program and shape it into something that will give new athletes their forever home, just like I have experienced. God, thank you for giving me the best school to pursue my dreams. I praise your name! Thank you WUSOFT. #donedog taken in Dog Pound by @hali.scott

It was such an honor to be asked to throw the first pitch at the opening day of East Surry Little League. East Surry and Pilot Mountain were a big part of my career for a long time. Thank you God for the many years I had involved in this special sport. I pray that the young girls and boys get to experience the love for it I did. ❤️ by @hali.scott
