Finally have time to recap the weekend. And honestly it really hasn't sunk in yet and trying to grasp what this accomplishment means. Reflecting back when I was in a 12ft tinner in 2016, I remember thinking " I'm going to have a Nice bass boat and start fishing tournaments and win the csfl one day". And 10 years later here we are. Not long after in 2018, Cam invited me to be his partner in a club event on Drag Lake haliburton and popped my cherry and won my first event ever. (Even though Cam caught all the fish haha!) I guess things come full circle and we haven't stopped fishing events together since. I learned how to bass fish from a good friend of mine named Ben James who also learned from Cam. So the similarities of how we fished clicked right away and we haven't stopped since.

Honestly, writing this is im finally getting emotional as I'm finally trying to peice all my thoughts together. Bass fishing has done alot for me and the main root to all good things that have happened in my life. Without it I would probably be dead, a drunk and or drug addict. It's all I ever wanted to do was go fishing. I was never handed anything and had my fair share of having piece of shit boats, missing payments to buy a battery for the boat as I melted the terminals, rebuilding a 1983 basstracker for 2 years and struggling to just go fishing on a $15/hour wage. The biggest thing I'm grateful for going through the struggles was having grit and perseverance. The young me in 2016 would be ecstatic and pumped for older me, especially beating some elite guys and some local hammers who have fished lake couchiching for over 20 years.

I want to thank Cam for being not only my tournament partner but a good friend and mentor all these years. My fianceé for being my #1 supporter. My family for dealing with my addiction and supporting me all these years. All my friends and competitors for congratulating me. Jarrod at punisher jigs for making some of the best tackle. It's what caught all our fish on this weekend.

I'm running out of characters on this post now. Lake of bays classic next year. See if we can make it a back to back classic champs. LFG! by @haliburtonfishingguide

Another incredible day guiding for Greg and Ringo. Walleye were in massive groups with some schools being very skiddish after you catch one or get a bait near them. Took a break and chased smallmouth for majority of the day and wacked 21.36lbs with tons of others in the process. Decided to go back to finding walleye and stumbled into another massive pod of them and was able to get just 2 shy of a two man limit. A bonus Pike during smallmouth fishing and finishing the day with a white fish to boot. Thanks again fellas for a fun day.

The Fall feed is in full effect. @mikebax212 had one of his best days on the water starting his day off with his first musky And whacking a tons of smallmouth resulting in a 22.28lb bag which kind of saved me for the stingy walleye bite. We still managed to get a limit of walleye for the pan but it took until the last 30 minutes of the day to get it. The big ones are hanging around and had a few missed opportunities all day. But that's fishing! Had a blast with Mike and we already booked Walleye opener for 2027. Thanks for coming out you beauty!

The bite only gets better and have limited days between property clean ups. Send a DM for availability!

We originally planned to launch Pulse Marine Tech in summer 2026, but we’ve decided to push things back to 2027.

We’ve been running our test units all summer, putting them to work on the water and seeing how they perform in real fishing situations. So far, we’ve had a couple of podium finishes and a Classic Championship, which has been pretty exciting for a new company.

Testing has also shown us a few things we want to improve before we start selling to customers, including adding 4K screen options and making some other changes to the product.

There’s also a lot that goes into starting a business beyond just the product itself. We want to make sure we have everything figured out, from incorporation and packaging to shipping and warranty support, before we start taking orders.

We know the wait is longer than we originally planned, but we’d rather take the extra time and get it right than rush something out the door. We’re building this for anglers, and we want to be proud of what we put out there.

Thanks to everyone who’s been following along and supporting Pulse Marine Tech so far. We’re looking forward to what’s next!

A big happy birthday to this cutie patootie♥️🎂. Another year around the sun and your humor and beauty inside and out is the best part I get to enjoy every day. You deserve everything you ever want. I love you and hope you enjoy ever second of this special day. 🥳🥰👁️👄👁️. by @haliburtonfishingguide

Took dad and his good friend Gerry out for a walleye fish. Found a great hack to keep them out for 8 hours As the fam jam had to set up his surprise 70th birthday party. by @haliburtonfishingguide

Monday I guided Ian and Nate and got the quadfecta of species. Though everything was a little bit more difficult without a net as I think someone poached it off my boat At the classic. So handling this big pike and a bunch of lake trout was very difficult to say the least lol. It was pretty tough on the smallmouth part as usually this lake is a top water smash fest but still managed a bunch dragging Ned rigs. The biggest disappointment though was the lake trout weren't all grouped up as they usually are as they post up to near sanctuary to spawn there in about 2 months. We did get Nate a jig fish largemouth which I'm pretty pumped on. Thanks for traveling all the way up North guys and I look forward to our next guide! by @haliburtonfishingguide

Smallmouth and Laker day with Robert and the fam! Split a full day guide between Sam,Junior and Rob in the morning. Then the afternoon with Colton, Jake and Rob. Stuck a good 5.31lb smallmouth on topwater thinking it was going to be a wicked day of action but that bite died pretty quick. As tough as the smallmouth fishing was, we boated a total of 11 Lake trout on a main lake hump which saved the day. Thanks again Rob Im looking forward to next year when we do a selfish day of musky fishing! #thumbsupeveryphoto #smallmouth #smallmouthbass #bassfishing #bass #laketrout #lakers #makeralaker by @haliburtonfishingguide
