My heart is shattered in a way I never thought possible. You were my everything — my partner, my home, my forever — and now I must learn to live a life that no longer holds you. I think of you every day, and not a moment goes by that I don’t miss you. The last 4 years have been a roller coaster, but if I was told I’d have to do it all over again to be with you for one more second- I wouldn’t even hesitate. I loved you through all your flaws, and you loved me through all of mine. Every laugh we shared, every quiet moment, every struggle and every joy — are forever with me. Although you are not physically here, I will always carry you in my heart. We would lay in bed and laugh about our crazy stories & say how god made us for each other because no one understood us better than US. The way you loved me, was a love I never experienced before. Even in our bad times, we knew it would always be us. We used to laugh when our friends used to bet the over/under to see how long the argument would last and we’d be back in each other’s arms, LOL. But on a serious note- it was us & was always going to be us. The pain I feel with you gone will probably be a pain I have to learn to live with for the rest of my life. This one hurts differently, but I know you’re with me everyday. Even in your absence, you’re still taking care of us. I used to think you were crazy when you told me no matter what, you’d make sure we were okay- and now I know what you meant. It all makes sense now.
