After my niece’s father lost his own battle in March… I frequently wonder what I could have said to him two weeks prior when we sat next to each other at the girl’s cheer competition. However, none of us were aware of his situation. We didn’t know how his mind never stopped racing, how he genuinely put on a smile and went about his day for his daughters. For everyone.
I just wish he had known there was help for him to move forward, to stay alive, and to keep going. It requires strength and power, but you are far stronger than you realize. There is a reason you are still here, so let this be your sign to stay. Please know that asking for assistance is a sign of strength, not weakness. If you are in a crisis, please dial 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Be present for your loved ones, recognize the warning signs, and act accordingly.

Friendly reminder: There will come a day, where you will look back at this time and be so glad that you stayed.

As this trip comes to an end today, I can’t help but feel so thankful for the life we get to live!!!

We spent the last few days at Halloween Horror Nights for the 12th year in a row, and we finally got our Universal passes back after two years without them!!!
