The doors are officially open. Welcome to our new Sydney showroom!

After years of searching across Sydney, we finally found a place that felt like home. It took vision, determination, countless challenges, and many sleepless nights to transform a neglected Art Deco warehouse into a space where every rug could truly shine.

Today, we're proud to welcome our Sydney community to our new home @ 51 Ralph St Alexandria - a showroom built with passion, purpose, and craftsmanship at its heart.

We hope you'll stop by, explore the collection, and experience the beauty of each piece in person.

Sometimes you can’t tell if a rug works in your home until it’s in your home.

So we bring it to you. We move the furniture, roll it out where it would actually live, then put everything back. You see it in your own light, on your own floor, before you decide anything.

No charge, no obligation. That’s our service guarantee.

Becky’s first memory of this business is a black and white television in the back room, and a pile of Persian rugs to lie on while she watched it.

School holidays meant coming in to work with Dad, and she was perfectly happy about that.

She has been surrounded by beautiful textiles ever since, which she does not think is a coincidence.

Over 3 Million Hand Tied Knots…

The care, time and artistry that goes into these masterpieces is incredible.

A Shabargan is most definitely a statement piece and come with so much rich history.

I just love the individuality.

The power of the sun is an amazing tool used in the rug making process.

Those colours that pop in your living room start right here. When they are washed, each rug is laid out flat under open sky and left to dry slowly in the sun. It’s one of the oldest steps in the craft, and it hasn’t changed in generations. No machines, no shortcuts, just time, sunlight and patience.

So next time you walk across your rug, remember it spent a few days soaking up the sun before it ever made it to your floor.

Would you have guessed this was part of the process? by @halirugs
