Gonna miss my twisters fam 🥹 by @hallesutton01

Can’t believe the time is already here 🥺

As all the grad activities have been taking place these past few weeks, it has put me through a state of reflection that I’ve been trying so hard to escape but just can’t seem to get past.

As I’ve been forced to say goodbye to so many important chapters of my life, I’ve been struggling to put into words what these last 18 years have meant to me.

I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for every blessing, opportunity, lesson, and person who has helped shape me into who I am today. None of this would have been possible without the incredible community of people who have supported and believed in me every step of the way.

Additionally, closing out my JO gymnastics career is especially emotional. This sport has given me some of the highest highs, challenged me through the lowest lows, and taught me lessons that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. While I’m so sad to see my club career come to an end, I’m beyond excited for what lies ahead!!

The future is bright, and this is only the beginning! ❤️

See you in the NCAA!!😉 by @hallesutton01

Wow 🥹 what a journey.

A little over a year ago, I was being wheeled into the operating room, completely uncertain of what my future would look like. Being a college gymnast felt like a dream that was slipping further and further out of reach.

One thing I was certain of, though, was that I would give 110% to my recovery and do everything in my power to make it back. This journey was far from linear—filled with setbacks, doubts, and moments that tested me—but I never stopped believing in the bigger picture.

Now, looking back, the feeling of fulfillment is truly unmatched.

I am proud, excited, and beyond grateful to announce my commitment to Illinois State University to continue my academic and athletic career at the D1 level. Beyond thankful for Cass, Kendra, and Adeline for giving me this amazing opportunity!! So excited to get to work!❤️🖤

To my parents: your unwavering support and sacrifice have been the foundation of everything I’ve achieved. From the early mornings to the late nights, the countless drives, and the constant belief in me even when I doubted myself, you never once let me give up. Thank you for standing by me through every high and low and for always reminding me of what I’m capable of. I am so beyond grateful for everything you’ve done to help me chase this dream.

To my Barwis Family: Mike, Tony, Christie, Kelly, Joe, thank you for being such a crucial part of my journey. From day one, you pushed me, supported me, and never let me settle for anything less than my best. Through every phase of recovery and every step back into training, you believed in me and kept me focused on the bigger picture. I’m so grateful for the time, energy, and care you poured into helping me become stronger—physically and mentally. I truly couldn’t have done this without you all!

To Christy and the entire Twisters staff: You showed up for me on the hardest days, pushed me past limits I didn’t think I could break, and reminded me what I was working toward when things felt uncertain. Thank you for holding me accountable, lifting me up, and helping me grow into a stronger gymnast and person.
