Right now, our family in Panama is hurting. A massive 7.7 magnitude earthquake and over 100 continuous aftershocks have deeply impacted communities across the country, damaging homes, roads, and basic infrastructure.

This 6-minute video breaks down exactly what is happening on the ground right now, using real footage and photos from the hardest-hit areas. Beyond just spreading awareness, we are stepping up to bring direct relief to families who need it most.

We have a close family friend and her partner physically on the ground in Panama right now doing the work. They are working tirelessly to build and distribute care baskets for affected families.

Every single basket will be packed with vital necessities:

Complex Con Day 1 recap: The vision is expanding. 📈🧺

Walked into the building looking for daylight, and the energy completely exceeded expectations. We locked in some incredible pieces, tracked down some crazy good deals, and soaked in the entire experience.

The biggest blessing of the day? Sitting down with the team at Culture Kings. They are locked into what we are building here at Hallway Fresh. We had a real, dope conversation about the future, and they are incredibly excited to partner up to build something special with us moving forward. Breaking down barriers, staying grounded in the community, and using authentic style to connect educators and youth—the mission is only getting stronger.

First time out here experiencing this level of madness and it’s pure inspiration. Huge shoutout to everyone who showed love today. Round 2 tomorrow, we’re just getting started! 🔋👟✨

Day 1️⃣ at @complexcon

Before I get into anything a huge shoutout to @culturekings ‼️ You all made this happen 🙏🏾

First time at ComplexCon and it did not disappoint. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the scale of everything! Lord knows it was so much to see and you literally want to visit EVERY BOOTH!

Even though this is Complexcon I went straight to @thrift_con to see my PEOPLE lol!! A lot of great booths I’ve seen! Can’t lie the prices were INSANE 💵 but extremely rare pieces tho but damn 😭

I did end up finding a booth that gave some crazy dealssss! Had to cop some stuff for The Mobile Vintage Store here at Hallway Fresh 🙂‍↕️.

Made my way upstairs and that environment was VERY DIFFERENT 😂.

But hitting the floor, soaking in the creativity, and locking eyes on some of my favorite pieces made every second worth it. Huge respect to everyone putting their art, style, and passion on display today.

From sorting through racks and chasing a dream, to making it a legal reality. Today, Hallway Fresh LLC is officially registered and cleared to operate in the state of California! 🎉🔥

As a first-generation founder, this isn’t just about selling dope vintage clothes. It’s about building a legitimate foundation to bridge the gap between educators and students through fashion, style, and real relationships. 🧡

Now that we are officially an LLC, the real work begins. We’re scaling up, locking in partnerships, and getting ready to bring massive clothing giveaways and fire pieces straight to the youth and schools.

Haul #4 is hitting a little different ( 👀 Complex Con Invite ‼️ ) . 🚌✨
For this one, I’m stepping out from behind the rack to introduce myself and share the true story behind Hallway Fresh.

It all started with my pops (born in ‘49 and always the flyest man in the room). Whether it was a snapback, a crisp jacket, or a clean tee, his passion for style sparked my own love for fashion. That passion followed me all the way to North Carolina A&T (S/O the Aggies! 🐾) where I started heavy thrifting, and it stayed with me when I moved out here to LA.

But Hallway Fresh is bigger than just dope vintage clothes. Our core mission is to strengthen the relationship between educators and students through fashion. Style is the universal language of the youth. When kids see their educators showing up with style, it breaks the ice, sparks conversations, and builds a bridge that goes way beyond the classroom. 📚🔥

It’s time to formally introduce myself and share the story behind Hallway Fresh. 🚪✨
This journey started when I was cleaning out my closet of 80+ pairs of shoes, 100+ hats, and 50+ jackets. I realized how much I loved vintage fashion, and how much people loved my personal style. But the roots go way deeper than a cleanout.

The Roots: My Father & NC A&T 🇵🇦🕊️
My love for vintage comes from my dad. Born and raised in Panama, he always wore the freshest snapbacks and jackets. After he passed 12 years ago, digging through his things in the attic became my way to keep his memory alive. Combine that with my college days starting in 2012 at North Carolina A&T, where my friends and I thrifted unique gear, and the foundation was laid. 🐝🔥

Why “Hallway Fresh”? 🎒👟
In 2015, I was subbing at Lincoln Academy Middle School. After two weeks, students left me notes saying, “Mister, you’re fresh” and “I love your shoe game.”

Throughout my 14-year career in education—now serving as a High School Dean in Los Angeles—I’ve seen how fashion and sneakers (my Jordans, Nikes, and Kobes) build immediate trust with youth. In Black and Brown culture, fashion is a language of pride and connection. When students relate to your style, it breaks the ice.

The Bigger Vision 🚐💨
Hallway Fresh is a mobile vintage thrift experience built on passion and community. We bring the gear straight to you with two major goals:

1🏽 Supporting Educators: Partnering with schools for staff pop-ups. We curate classic cardigans, snapbacks, HBCU gear, and 90s crewnecks at affordable prices so teachers can bring their authentic selves to work. 🍎

2🏽 Gifting Back to the Youth: Running fundraisers and partnering with sports brands to host Back-to-School pop-ups, providing dope clothing and sneakers to underserved students at little to no cost. 🎒
