Huge shoutout to Anthony for the personal invite to an absolute next-level experience! 🕊️ From the second I stepped into the space, the energy was unmatched—welcomed with a crazy good vibe, dope music, hot beverages, and the DJ spinning an immaculate set all night. They were celebrating their 10th anniversary by redoing original archival pieces and dropping a massive sneak peek of what’s rolling out worldwide next weekend. Getting a first look at these earth tones, heavy thermals, cozy corduroy sweats, and cut-off sleeves before the rest of the world sees them was insane. High-level comfort, top-tier fits. You know I had to pull up and lock in. Huge thank you to the team for setting up the free embroidery station—I immediately took advantage and got the official Hallway Fresh logo and my nonprofit, Running Towards the Future, stitched right onto a fresh hoodie. Blending style with opportunity every single day. Dropped the ball on getting videos of me trying on the collection (too busy locking in), but we did manage to secure some absolute gems to bring back home. Full details on the haul coming in the next post. Stay tuned! 👀🔥 #HallwayFresh #RTTF #StreetwearCulture #VintageThrift #mnml

Huge shoutout to our athlete Ian on completing Session 2! 🏁 For this session, we ventured out to a new location to tackle some hills and build that strength endurance. Ian took on two sets of three repetitions on hills stretching 60 to 80 meters long, and he absolutely crushed it. ⛰️🔥 What we are most proud of isn’t just the physical work—it’s his mindset. Ian attacked every rep, stuck to his rest breaks, and pushed straight through when things got tough and his body wanted to give up. The progression from Session 1 to Session 2 has been incredible to watch. Iron sharpens iron. We are so excited for Session 3 to keep building his skills and his confidence. Thank you, Ian, for your consistency, your openness, and for bringing your best to the Running Towards the Future family. We see you! 🤝💙 #RunningTowardsTheFuture #BridgeTheGap #YouthAthletics #Consistency #Session2 HillTraining StudentAthletes GrindTogether

ComplexCon Days 2 recap! 💨 Doors closed on an insane weekend. Day 1 was cool, but Day 2 was all about hitting the upper levels and exploring the boutiques I missed out on—checking out the dope culture setup, current fashion spaces, and some clean non-thrift collections. Had to pull the trigger on a few dope pieces, including some Palm Angels merch, and fueled up with a massive Marathon Burger. 🍔🔥 Major highlights from the floor: 🥁 Big shoutout to the HBCU band that was absolutely shutting down the convention center layout! 🧴 Massive respect to the brand That's A Awful Lot Of Cough Syrup for sponsoring them and keeping the whole band decked out in their gear. The energy was unmatched. 🤞 And a special thank you to my boy Anthony over at Culture Kings for hooking me up with the ticket to experience this whole environment for two days. Also a huge shoutout to the bro @oladle for the interview surrounding Hallway Fresh that was done Thur @thrift_con , my vintage outfit, my late great father who inspired it all, and about how fashion is a huge piece that should be involved in education and youth 🙂🫶🏽 Not going to lie, the crowds were heavy and it got a little overwhelming at times, but the overall vibe and inspiration were 10/10. Grateful for the experience and already looking forward to locking it in for next year! 🕊️🎒 What was your favorite piece from the haul video? Session #1 Lets go Ian🚀🏃‍♂️💨 We are incredibly proud of Ian having his first official session being apart of the Running Towards the Future family🔋 Ian is a dedicated distance runner with a massive goal in sight—he’s trying out for his track and field team in just two months. Today, we locked in for our first official session together, starting off with a mile time trial to build his baseline. Our mission here is complete development. We meet our athletes where they are to elevate their endurance, speed, technique, running form, confidence, and provide deep mentorship every step of the way. And let me tell you, Ian put on an absolute masterclass in mentality today. The mile warm-up and those dynamic drills tried to wear him down early, but I couldn’t be prouder of how he bounced back. When it came time for the actual mile trial, he had moments where he wanted to stop and REFUSED!! Watching him dig deep and completely blaze down that final straightaway had the whole team hyped! 😤🔥 That is exactly the mentality we look for in our athletes—never giving up, stepping up to the plate, and giving it everything you’ve got. We wrapped up the day pushing through some heavy hill work, but Ian didn’t back down. We are so confident in your work ethic and deeply excited to watch your progress over the next two months. You got this, Ian! Everyone drop some love in the comments and welcome Ian to the family! 🏁👇🏽 #RunningTowardsTheFuture #TrackAndField #DistanceRunner #YouthMentorship SpeedAndEndurance StudentAthletes GrindTime TrackTryouts MentorshipMatters NeverGiveUp

Today, Hallway Fresh LLC is officially registered and cleared to operate in the state of California! 🎉🔥 As a first-generation founder, this isn’t just about selling dope vintage clothes. We’re scaling up, locking in partnerships, and getting ready to bring massive clothing giveaways and fire pieces straight to the youth and schools. Haul #4 is hitting a little different ( 👀 Complex Con Invite ‼️ ) . 🚌✨ For this one, I’m stepping out from behind the rack to introduce myself and share the true story behind Hallway Fresh. It all started with my pops (born in ‘49 and always the flyest man in the room). Whether it was a snapback, a crisp jacket, or a clean tee, his passion for style sparked my own love for fashion. That passion followed me all the way to North Carolina A&T (S/O the Aggies! 🐾) where I started heavy thrifting, and it stayed with me when I moved out here to LA. But Hallway Fresh is bigger than just dope vintage clothes. Our core mission is to strengthen the relationship between educators and students through fashion. Style is the universal language of the youth. When kids see their educators showing up with style, it breaks the ice, sparks conversations, and builds a bridge that goes way beyond the classroom. 📚🔥 READ THIS ‼️‼️ Today is a massive milestone for the vision: I’m officially on my way to ComplexCon! 🤯 Huge shoutout to Anthony from Culture Kings who heard about the Hallway Fresh mission, tapped in, and blessed me with a ticket. Today, I’m meeting the Culture Kings team to talk about our vision and explore future partnerships to take this to the next level! Stick around to the end of this 10-minute drop because we are unpacking some absolute heat today: * 🏰 Rare Vintage Disney * 🎾 Retro Tennis & Volleyball gear * ⛳️ Classic Vintage Golf apparel * 🧥 Old-school Nike & Sports Starter Jackets Thank you all for the love and for rocking with the journey. Pull up, watch the full piece, and let me know your favorite item in the comments! 👇🏽 #HallwayFresh #VintageHaul #ComplexCon #CultureKings NCAT EducatorStyle ThriftCommunity VintageFinds StreetwearCulture FashionInEducation

It’s time to formally introduce myself and share the story behind Hallway Fresh. 🚪✨ This journey started when I was cleaning out my closet of 80+ pairs of shoes, 100+ hats, and 50+ jackets. I realized how much I loved vintage fashion, and how much people loved my personal style. But the roots go way deeper than a cleanout. The Roots: My Father & NC A&T 🇵🇦🕊️ My love for vintage comes from my dad. Born and raised in Panama, he always wore the freshest snapbacks and jackets. After he passed 12 years ago, digging through his things in the attic became my way to keep his memory alive. Combine that with my college days starting in 2012 at North Carolina A&T, where my friends and I thrifted unique gear, and the foundation was laid. 🐝🔥 Why “Hallway Fresh”? 🎒👟 In 2015, I was subbing at Lincoln Academy Middle School. After two weeks, students left me notes saying, “Mister, you’re fresh” and “I love your shoe game.” Throughout my 14-year career in education—now serving as a High School Dean in Los Angeles—I’ve seen how fashion and sneakers (my Jordans, Nikes, and Kobes) build immediate trust with youth. In Black and Brown culture, fashion is a language of pride and connection. When students relate to your style, it breaks the ice. The Bigger Vision 🚐💨 Hallway Fresh is a mobile vintage thrift experience built on passion and community. We bring the gear straight to you with two major goals: 1🏽 Supporting Educators: Partnering with schools for staff pop-ups. We curate classic cardigans, snapbacks, HBCU gear, and 90s crewnecks at affordable prices so teachers can bring their authentic selves to work. 🍎 2🏽 Gifting Back to the Youth: Running fundraisers and partnering with sports brands to host Back-to-School pop-ups, providing dope clothing and sneakers to underserved students at little to no cost. 🎒 This is for my dad, the educators, the kids, and the community. Thank you for riding with me. 🕊️❤️ 👇🏽 Drop a comment below and let me know what vintage gear you’re hunting for! Welcome to the Running Towards the Future family, Bella! 🏃‍♀️✨ We are absolutely thrilled to announce our third official athlete, Bella! Last Friday afternoon, Bella showed up for her Session 0 and absolutely crushed it. Bella is a freshman at Warren High School, where she is already making waves on the Varsity Cross Country team. Even though she is brand new to the sport, she is already breaking the 24-minute barrier in the 5K! The raw talent is undeniable. During her session, we dove into key fundamentals, breaking down: * Proper breathing techniques * Optimizing her stride * Learning how to attack hills during her races and more The ceiling is incredibly high for Bella. As a freshman, she already displays the work ethic and potential to be an exceptional runner at the highest levels in college. Athletics also runs in the family! Bella is related to a former athlete who is very close to Coach Chavez ( Hint last name Macias 😉 ) , making her arrival even more special. We also want to send a huge Happy Belated Birthday wish her way! 🎂🎉 Please join us in giving a massive shoutout and a round of applause to welcome Bella to the family! 👏👏 We cannot wait to officially get started with her first full session next week. Let’s get to work! 🏁 #RunningTowardsTheFuture #CrossCountry #HighSchoolRunner #WarrenHighSchool #FutureStar WelcomeToTheFamily

This post-race interview features two incredible individuals who pushed me to get back on the pavement: Aaron Padilla and Ms. Torres. 🏃‍♂️ Aaron Padilla Aaron is my former student, a senior at Cathedral High School, and a powerhouse on both the varsity cross country and track teams. He is currently crushing his cross-country season with a massive goal to drop a low-16 or high-15 minute time in the 5K this year! 🏀 Ms. Torres Ms. Torres is the former founding middle school English teacher at KCA Upper School and founding girls’ basketball coach at KCA Upper School. She started her own running journey back in 2022 after feeling winded during a basketball league game and deciding to get into shape. Ever since, she’s been completely committed—recently crushing the LA Marathon in March 2026! Now, she keeps running to fuel her elite competitive side. 📢 A Huge Shoutout to Both of You! Thank you, Aaron and Ms. Torres, for getting me out there, getting me moving, and inspiring me to tackle the Bimbo 10K. Having leaders and athletes like you in my corner is exactly what Running Towards the Futureis all about! It felt incredibly special to be interviewed right after crossing the finish line by my former student, Aaron Padilla! I was just sharing how inspiring it felt to get back out there for the Bimbo 10K. Even though I haven’t run in a long time and the pavement was tough, the true driving force that got me across that finish line was my athletes at Running Towards the Future. Every single step of this race, I was fueled by their dedication, hard work, and energy. Leading this nonprofit means practicing what we preach, and my athletes inspire me to keep moving forward every single day. Check out the clip to hear more of our post-race chat! 🏃‍♂️✨ #RunningTowardsTheFuture #Bimbo10K #PostRaceInterview #CommunityFirst #NonprofitFounder Inspiration

I just crossed the finish line of the Bimbo 10K at the Daily Marathon, marking my first official 10K since March 2026. I’ll be completely honest with you all: I am really out of shape right now, and I haven’t run in a very long time. Competing this past weekend was incredibly tough, especially since I am still actively recovering from getting my tonsils removed. But as the founder of Running Towards the Future, I know that leadership means showing up, even when it’s hard. And I absolutely could not have done this alone. 📢 A Huge Shoutout to My Circle: * To Aaron, Ms. Torres, and Jaime: Thank you for pushing me this past weekend to get back out there and tackle the Bimbo 10K. I truly needed that motivation! * An extra special thank you to Ms. Torres: For providing the code/VIN number so I could register and run this race completely for free! * To my family: Thank you so much for coming out to watch me run and being there to cheer me on as I crossed that finish line. Seeing you there meant everything! * To my athletes (Ymahnii, Ian, and Bella): Your recent sessions before this race were my ultimate motivation piece. Watching your drive and dedication gave me the exact spark I needed to get back out there this past Sunday. I wanted to run towards the future using the exact same energy and motivation you all bring to the pavement. * It feels amazing to be back in the local running community. We are taking it step-by-step, session-by-session, and running straight toward what’s next. 🏃‍♂️✨ #RunningTowardsTheFuture #Bimbo10K #DailyMarathon #CommunityFirst #NonprofitFounder RunningCommunity KeepMovingForward
