Believe it or not, this is not a crab cake! I shredded and cooked/squeezed out moisture from lion's mane mushrooms and turned them into "crab" cakes 🦀. They are Marylander-approved, and a great vegetarian/vegan alternative to the real thing! by @halo_red

So two days ago it had been three years since my mom left us, and finally was free of pain. I wasn't sure whether to post or not about it, because I mean, it's kind of a bummer; but, the number of people that reached out to me on Sunday to see how I was doing.. it made me realize there is truly love in this world, regardless of what "bummer" or "non bummer" posts you make. Y'all made me feel...complete. Not sure how to explain it, but as an only child, it means the world to me when people connect and reach out to me, since I mean, it's just me. I didn't respond to everyone but truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you. It was a truly traumatizing day, but thanks to EMDR/talk therapy, I can finally reflect on that day without sobbing. I wish this on no one else but if you do have an ailing parent, I encourage you to check out Storyworth. My mom was only able to do a handful of entries, unfortunately, but my dad was able to write a whole freaking book which I got for Hanukkah last year, and it meant the world to me. Took him a couple of years, but truly, if you have even healthy parents now, do it. Don't wait like I did. I've been able to move on, as we all have to (dual-process model of grief wassup), but I will never stop missing you, mommy. I love you. by @halo_red

Guys I literally can't even... You may notice I share her videos on a near daily basis because.. when I was at my lowest, which way VERY LOW for a handful of years there, I would just watch @taylortomlinson specials on repeat. They were the only things that made me laugh out loud, and since my brain sucks at making dopamine, you know I was craving those sweet, sweet neurotransmitters I got from those laughs. Thanks for the mood boosts and the lols Taylor, I will see you in September 😍, and I'll be sure to wear my arm floaties.
