PS, they turned out incredible, the recipe is from @testkitchen, and using brown butter for the cookies is an absolute must. by @halophoenix

Oops I cooked again.

Ham with an apple pepper glaze, roasted vegetables with a lemon garlic yogurt sauce (holy shit), 3 cheese mashed potato casserole. Not too bad for two people and a solo cook. Hope you're safe, warm, and loved, wherever you are. by @halophoenix

Another Thanksgiving and I'm grateful for you. Yes, you! You, looking at this, if you've ever liked a photo, watched a story, shared something with me, followed me or commented or whatever. Thank you all for being shining lights in the unfathomable darkness of the spaces between us. Keep shining.

Oh, the food? Yeah, I made that. All of it. It was incredible, and now my father's fridge is full of food (good, he lives alone) and there are so many leftovers. Not a bad result for a single cook, don't you think? (Ignore the store bought peach pie okay, pls) by @halophoenix

I want to post my work here more often! Here are a few things I've been up to:
1: My team at PCMag is incredible and I even have time to contribute regularly, leading to headlines like this one...
2: My newsletter, Productivity, without Privilege, is humming along with lots of new issues. Link to sub is in my bio and will be in my stories!
3: I launched a Patreon for folks who want to support the newsletter and my Twitch streaming journey! Don't worry, the newsletter is free, but Patreon subs get early access and comments!
4: Yup, I've been streaming on Twitch, and plan to do even more, if only to stay in touch!
5: Oh yeah there was that time Chiitan, the Japanese mascot, liked my very correct political take on Bluesky, which is where I post more often, so follow me there! by @halophoenix
