With Danny Boyle behind the camera and Jack O’Connell bringing Larry Lamb to life, *Ink* is definitely one to watch! 🎬

🎥 *Ink* arrives in select U.S. theaters on December 11, 2026, before streaming on Netflix on January 8, 2027. 🇬🇧✨

❄️🖤 **“LA NIEVE” — GUITARRICADELAFUENTE | LA BOLA NEGRA** 🎬🇪🇸

Some songs don't just accompany a film—they become part of its soul.

With *“La Nieve,”* Guitarricadelafuente brings his singular musical sensibility to *La Bola Negra*, the highly anticipated new film from Spanish filmmaking duo Los Javis (Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi). ❄️🎶

Known for his distinctive voice, poetic lyrics, and fusion of Spanish folk traditions with contemporary sounds, Guitarricadelafuente creates music that feels both timeless and deeply personal. *“La Nieve”* feels like the perfect companion to a story steeped in memory, longing, desire, and the silences surrounding queer lives across generations.

Inspired by Federico García Lorca's unfinished play of the same name, *La Bola Negra* explores identity, sexuality, and the weight of history through the lives of three gay men in different periods of Spanish history. It's a story about the lives that history tried to erase—and the truths that refuse to remain buried.

There's something especially moving about hearing a contemporary Spanish artist contribute to a film so deeply connected to the country's cultural and queer history. ❄️🖤

Sometimes, the most powerful stories are the ones that linger like winter snow: beautiful, haunting, and impossible to forget.

🎧 Listen to *“La Nieve”* by Guitarricadelafuente.

🖤🎬 **LOS JAVIS ARE MAKING QUEER FILM HISTORY WITH *LA BOLA NEGRA*!** 🇪🇸🏳️‍🌈

Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, the visionary Spanish creative duo affectionately known as **Los Javis**, are back with their most ambitious cinematic project yet: *La Bola Negra* (*The Black Ball*).

Fresh off winning the **Best Director award at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival**, Los Javis have created an emotionally powerful queer epic that weaves together the lives of three gay men across three different eras of Spanish history: 1932, 1937, and 2017. 🏆✨

Inspired by the unfinished play of the same name by legendary Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca, the film explores sexuality, desire, forbidden love, historical trauma, and the painful legacies passed from one generation to the next.

The stellar cast includes **Guitarricadelafuente** in his acting debut, Miguel Bernardeau, Carlos González, Milo Quifes, Penélope Cruz, and Glenn Close. With its exploration of queer identity against the backdrop of a divided Spain, *La Bola Negra* promises to be much more than a period drama—it's a reclamation of stories and identities that history has tried to silence. 🖤❤️

Having previously given us groundbreaking queer stories through *Veneno* and *La Mesías*, Los Javis continue to push Spanish cinema forward, bringing LGBTQ+ lives, desires, and histories to the forefront.

In a world where queer history is too often erased or forgotten, films like this remind us why representation matters: **our stories deserve to be told, remembered, and seen.** 🌈🎥

🎞️ *La Bola Negra* is now in U.S. theaters, with streaming on Netflix scheduled for December 2, 2026.

Are you ready to experience Los Javis' latest cinematic masterpiece?

🏳️‍🌈💫 From meeting Ruaridh Mollica on August 3, 2024, to seeing him join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in *VisionQuest*—what an exciting journey!

The Scottish actor is making his MCU debut as **Tommy Shepherd/Tommy Maximoff**, the superpowered twin brother of Billy Maximoff, played by Joe Locke. But what makes this casting especially meaningful is the representation behind it: Ruaridh is a bisexual actor playing a bisexual character. ❤️💜💙

In a new interview with *Variety*, Ruaridh shared how much it means to see Marvel cast a bisexual actor in the role, saying, “I feel so seen.” He also expressed hope that his portrayal will help audiences feel seen and represented, too.

And with Joe Locke playing his gay twin brother, the MCU is bringing two queer brothers into the same superhero universe! 🌈⚡ Authentic representation matters, especially when LGBTQ+ actors get to bring their own experiences and perspectives to characters whose stories can resonate with so many people.

It's wonderful to see Ruaridh moving from acclaimed independent films like *Sebastian* to a major Marvel production while continuing to champion queer visibility and his Scottish roots. Here's to more complex LGBTQ+ characters, more authentic casting, and more stories in which everyone can see a little of themselves reflected on screen! 🎬✨

📺 *VisionQuest* is streaming on Disney+.

🚀 From meeting Pierce Brown on January 17, 2018, to seeing his epic sci-fi saga *Red Rising* take a major step toward the big screen! 🔴🪐

I met **Pierce Brown** back in 2018, when the bestselling author was building on the phenomenal success of his *Red Rising* universe. Now, nearly nine years later, there's exciting news for fans of Darrow and his fight against a brutal, color-coded society.

Paramount Pictures has acquired the film rights to *Red Rising*, and **Francis Lawrence**, the filmmaker behind multiple *The Hunger Games* movies, will direct. Justin Rhodes will write the screenplay, and Brown himself will serve as an executive producer. 🔥🎬

The story of Darrow, a Red who infiltrates the ruling Gold elite on Mars to fight an oppressive system, combines dystopian science fiction, political intrigue, rebellion, and epic world-building. With Lawrence's experience bringing dystopian worlds to life, this adaptation has the potential to deliver the scale, intensity, and spectacle that Brown's universe deserves.

Of course, bringing such a beloved, expansive saga to the screen is no small feat. Here's hoping the filmmakers capture the heart of the books, the complexity of their characters, and the unforgettable twists that have kept readers invested in this world.

It's exciting to see how far things have come since I met Pierce in 2018. Here's to the next chapter of *Red Rising*—and hopefully, a truly epic cinematic journey! 🏹✨

Would you watch *Red Rising* in theaters? 🔴

From Nate Archibald to The Deep, Chace Crawford has built a career out of playing characters who look like they have it all together—even when they absolutely do not. 😏🎬
Crawford first became a household name as Nate on *Gossip Girl*, bringing charm, vulnerability and plenty of Upper East Side drama to the iconic teen series. He later showed off his comedic side as Kevin in *Blood & Oil* and made a very different impression as the hilariously unhinged superhero The Deep in *The Boys*.
Beyond television, Crawford has appeared in films including *The Covenant*, *What to Expect When You’re Expecting*, *Undrafted*, *Inheritance* and *The Haunting of Molly Hartley*. He’s also continued to take on more unexpected roles, proving there’s much more to him than the handsome leading-man image that launched his career.
Whether you know him as Nate Archibald, The Deep, or simply as one of Hollywood’s most effortlessly charming actors, Chace Crawford remains a standout. 🔥

One year ago today, on October 11, 2025, I had the pleasure of meeting the incredibly talented James McAvoy! 🎬✨ Now, the acclaimed Scottish actor has stepped behind the camera for his **directorial debut with *California Schemin’***, a film in which he also appears on screen.

Based on the unbelievable true story of two aspiring Scottish rappers who pretended to be American to break into the music industry, *California Schemin’* is an entertaining, rebellious tale of ambition, friendship, identity, and the lengths people will go to for their dreams. 🎤🔥

It’s exciting to see McAvoy take on a new creative challenge, bringing his experience as an actor to the director’s chair while still appearing in the film himself. Here’s to the next chapter in his filmmaking career, and hopefully many more films behind the camera! 👏🎥
