It’s called Good News for a reason!

1 Peter 3:15- “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect”

The Gospel is still the answer!

“He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

He’s been good! Thank you Jesus for this place and these people!

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

GEN Z FOR JESUS!
Grateful to experience a glimpse of heaven this weekend with 45,000 college students lifting up the name of Jesus. He is so beyond faithful! I truly believe this generation is going to be the one to bring heaven down to earth and share the Good News of Jesus until all have heard! If you’re reading this and don’t know Jesus, come as you are, He so desperately wants a relationship with you!

Something the Lord has been teaching me in this season is that you can be faithful by being quiet. And that doesn’t mean you don’t ever share your faith with anybody. However, that does mean how we live is often more important than what we can ever say. I’m reminded of the passage out of 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 “make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: you should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders so that you will not be dependent on anybody.”

Reading that some may think well, as believers, we are not called to seek the approval of others (Galatians 1:10) -and that is not what it’s about. Rather, Paul is telling Timothy to go about our business and seek Christ with all your heart working hard for Him. But we must always be prepared to give an answer for the hope that we have in Jesus (1 Peter 3:15). Granted I have plenty of work to do in all of this that I’m writing about and all aspects of my life. And, I’m beyond imperfect.

However, I have a savior. Who still chose to die for an imperfect person like me. And you! If you have never made that personal decision to give your life to Jesus I would highly recommend! Come as you are!

Romans 10:9- “If you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, then you will be saved.”

Romans 5:8- “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” by @halston.redwine

State Champs! All glory to God!
These last 6 years playing tennis at Ada have surpassed what I thought they might be. I’m forever grateful for the family that comes with the Ada Tennis program. There is nothing quite like it. I’m simply at a loss of words to fathom that my high school tennis days are over, but excited for the next chapter. Thank you Coach Swopes and Coach Nelson for impacting me in huge ways on and off the court. Thank you to my teammates for pushing me day in and day out. It was well worth it! And lastly, thank you to all my family and friends for being the best support system and fans out there. Can’t believe it’s over, but glad it ended the way it did. 🧹🧹
