SJJIF World Championship Japan 🇯🇵🥋🔥 🥇 GI Gold 🥈 No-Gi Silver Last year competing in Japan was tough. The rules were different from what I was used to, the level was really high, and I walked away with a lot of frustration. This year I came back as a Yellow Belt. There was definitely more pressure this time, but more than anything, I just wanted to go out there and fight like myself. And I’m really happy I did. Getting to fight Ale in the No-Gi final and bring home gold and silver together was so cool too. I know medals aren’t everything and I’ve still got heaps to work on and more goals I want to chase. But this one feels good. All the training, hard rounds and time on the mats with my teammates paid off. A HUGE thank you to everyone cheering me on from Australia, and to my family, friends and teammates who came to watch and support me in Japan. It meant a lot ❤️🙏 Big shoutout to @fernando.toshio and @satorubjj for being there, supporting me and coaching me through my matches 🙏🔥 My professors @thalisonvsoares @millicentmccourt and all my teammates @theacademybyronbay — thank you for always pushing me to get better and helping me get here ❤️🥋I couldn’t have achieved any of this without you. Thank you so much @suave_kimono for your continued support🙏❤️ Had so much fun competing in Japan again 🇯🇵🔥 Now I’m ready to get back on the mats and keep getting better🥋🤙 by @haluebjj

I never imagined my first trip to the US would bring so many incredible people into my life. More than the competition, more than jiu-jitsu itself, I’m leaving with so much gratitude for the people we met and the kindness we were shown. There are so many memories that didn’t make it into this reel, but they’ll stay with me forever. Thank you🤍🫶 by @haluebjj

My first PAN KIDS🥋 1 win. 1 loss. This wasn’t the result I was hoping for, but it’s where I am right now, and I accept it. Everything I worked for to get here, everything I saw, felt, and learned by competing on this stage has made me stronger. I’m grateful for the opportunity to compete here, and I know this experience will definitely help me grow. A huge thank you to Professor @thalisonvsoares for your guidance, unwavering support, and for guiding me toward the mindset of a top competitor. I don’t think I would have made it this far without you. Competing against top-level athletes in America was an unforgettable experience. I learned more than I can put into words, and I know this experience will make me a better competitor. Thank you so much to my coaches and teammates at @theacademybyronbay @movedailybyronbay , my family, my friends, and everyone who has supported me and sent me so many kind messages and love. Your support was my greatest strength. It truly means a lot. A special thank you to @alebejj @odin.ben.bjj and @orian.ben.bjj Sharing this experience with you guys made it even more special, and having you by my side gave me so much confidence. Thank you. Thank you @fernando.toshio , @niro_nio and Mum. I couldn’t have enjoyed this trip and stayed focused throughout our time in America without your support. I’m truly grateful. A big shout-out to my sponsors, @suave_kimonos and @bomtape for your incredible support, amazing gis, and finger tapes. The journey continues. 🥋🔥 by @haluebjj
