To my clients and friends,

After many years of pouring myself into this craft with very few breaks, I’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to take the next two weeks away from the shop to focus on my health and recovery.

Choosing to step away isn’t easy, especially when you’ve built your life around serving others. But I’ve come to realize that sometimes the strongest thing we can do is slow down, take care of ourselves, and trust God with the rest.

I want to sincerely thank each of you for your loyalty, support, and trust throughout the years. Your encouragement has meant more to me than you’ll ever know, and I’m grateful for it during this season.

I look forward to returning refreshed and ready to get back behind the chair. When I’m back, I’ll send out a reminder so everyone can start booking appointments again.

Thank you for your patience, your prayers, and your continued support.

See you soon. —TJ taken in HAM Barber Studio by @hambarberstudio

END OF A CHAPTER, NOT OUR STORY 💈

Four years ago, HAM Barber Studio was just an idea: my loyal clientele, my clippers, and a few chairs.
No guarantees. No roadmap on ownership. Just hard work, a vision, and trusting the Man Above.

Then over those years, through all the late nights and small beginnings… the neighborhood of Second Ward embraced us.

This community didn’t just show up for a cut, they showed up for us as people.
Y’all believed in what we were building.
And over time, this place became more than a shop.
It became familia.

Every conversation, every laugh, every story shared in these chairs.. that’s what built HAM.
And those moments will always stay with us.

On November 8th, we close our doors at The Plant.
Not with sadness, but with gratitude.
Gratitude for the community that turned a vision into a home.

We’re not done. We’re just evolving.
HAM Barber Studio reopens November 13th in our new flagship home in Northside Houston.
A new space to build. New walls to fill. But the same love, same energy, same HAM.

See you soon, Northside 🤝

Asking God to make things obvious for me hasn’t been the easiest decision for me to make. You have to let your faith guide you and trust God’s plan is greater than anything you have planned for yourself. #God #Faith #Trust #Motivate taken in Houston, Texas by @hambarberstudio
