The autumn equinox is later tonight, and just like that - we’re in autumn. The days are shortening, and if you ask us, that’s cause for celebration rather than mourning. 🍂🕯️

We're proud to say that our Blanc de Blancs NV has been awarded GOLD with 96 Points in the @theiwsc 2026 Awards! 🥂

After all these years of producing English sparkling wines, it's still a source of pride to be praised so highly for what we do. Our Blanc de Blancs is a bottle we're incredibly proud of, and, in its essence, reflects the unique personality of our chalk terroir here in the hills of the South Downs.

We're honoured to share that this Monday, our Hambledon Classic Cuvée and Classic Cuvée Rosé were poured for guests at the British Ambassador's Residence in Washington D.C., at a Garden Party hosted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

With 600 guests from across the worlds of art, science, politics and beyond, we're proud to have been chosen to represent the quality of English sparkling wine at such a historic occasion.

Introducing The Chef's Table: A New Way to Dine at Hambledon Wine Estate 🥂

Immerse yourself in the theatre of the kitchen as Executive Chef Rob and his team bring your menu to life.

Choose a five or eight-course set menu built around the best local and seasonal produce, with an optional wine pairing matched glass by glass, from Hambledon's own award-winning sparkling wines to an exceptional selection from around the world.

The Chef will be with you all evening, plating each course himself, bringing it to your table, and telling the story behind it as he goes. The whole table is yours, up to 10 guests, with his full attention from first course to last. Perfect for a birthday, an anniversary, or any celebration worth making a fuss of.

Watching him personally thank and greet our incredibly talented kitchen team was the cherry on top.

Matriarca x Hambledon 🍽️

One menu, two wine-growing traditions, and a rare meeting of English sparkling and Portuguese terroir.

This October, we welcome @symingtonfamilyestates into our kitchen for our biggest collaborative feast yet. Pedro Lencastre Monteiro, Head Chef of @matriarca.porto, joins our Executive Chef Rob Mcleary (@robmcleary) & Head Chef Odhrán Murray at The Restaurant for two evenings only.

Expect a soup that carries the taste of Porto, a fish course rooted in English waters, and a meat course built the way Matriarca cooks at home.

Harvest is the most anticipated time of year in both the vineyard and the winery. In the vineyard, it’s the culmination of a year’s work. In the winery, it’s the beginning of a new cycle. It’s a period that demands hard work and dedication. Nature doesn’t wait, and neither can we, which means our teams stay adaptive and responsive to whatever the day brings.
