Had the most wonderful evening at the Hamilton Public Library, Red Hill Branch, hosting a folk-inspired watercolour workshop 🌸 @hamiltonlibrary @cityofhamilton @cbruck

We spent the evening painting a folk-style flower together, step by step, no experience needed, just curiosity and a little colour. Watching everyone’s pieces come to life was such a joy.

Thank you to everyone who joined, and to Hamilton Public Library for having me.

Have you visited the newly relocated Children's Area on Central Library's 2nd Floor? Families and caregivers have been enjoying Storytimes and the free play and stay structures alongside the collections.

The Storytime carpet, chosen in partnership with the City of Hamilton’s Indigenous Relations Division, is called 'Garden of Relatives' and was designed by Indigenous artist Hawlii Pichette. The carpet’s design honours the interconnectedness of living beings, bringing together plants, wildlife and human beings. Each plant represents an animal that is found throughout Turtle Island and inspired by the tracks created as they move across the land.

Green Venture and the Hamilton Public Library @hamiltonlibrary are excited to announce our newest seed library, located at the West Harbour Branch (77 Harbourside Way). Help us fill this library with seed donations from the community!

See post for instructions on how to harvest and donate seeds from your garden. Donations can be brought to select HPL branches, or to EcoHouse at 22 Veevers Drive.
