"Don't tell me this town ain't got no heart!" 💗

Thank you for @bowstringwilmington for having me out with @kimpossiblepaints to brush some strokes on my canvas during @cosmiccharlieband performance was a true bucketlist item checked off. I have been finding it incredibly therapeutic with the recent loss of my mama to paint at live shows. It helps ground my soul and feel more connected to the energy. I felt inspired to brush out the cosmic jellyfish in my head on this canvas. I plan to add a some grateful elements to complete it. 🌹⚡️❤️

My easel up anywhere possibly has become a true @hamjammers mantra of acceptance to create with others. I love being able to do video, photos, and live paint as a well-rounded experience of what these spaces are for which is necessary for healing. We all have the energy in us to untapped the creative flow. Live music certainly helps unlock this!

I have sat on the sidelines far too long and helping curate safe places and building our creative community. This is my life's passion and I feel the love you are generating supporting my dreams.

Now I get to live paint for the first time at my favorite venue in the world, @greenfieldlakeamp, with fellow creatives I promote during the best event of the year @portcityjerryday for a sold out show featuring @dubtowncosmonauts and @splinteredsunlight!

I hope to see you there! 🌹☠️⚡️ by @hamjammers

The artists in the art gallery during @domefestofficial made the progression of this mural absolutely mesmerizing to witness in person from start to finish! So many talented artists in one place to make something truly special. They nailed the essence and energy of the festival despite the weather and muddy ground transgressions they faced. Happy to have captured this progression of creativity and beauty. Shout out to all the painters who helped create such a miracle of alchemizing energy. Just put a bird on it. 💞 taken in Domefest by @hamjammers

Join @bringoutyerdeadband for a really fun time celebrating the love and light of @jerrygarcia's birthday at @theramkat, where we will twirl and dance to honor the life and community we cherish from @gratefuldead tonight!

There will be great vibes, and we will be supporting the non-profit, Little Trees. While the music plays, you can relax and boogie. I will be live painting on canvas magnets and taking instant film photos for the crowd while the band performs. @portcityjerrydoll will also be making an appearance on stage—take a photo with Jerry!

I've never been to this venue before and am excited to attend this show. Who will be joining us? by @hamjammers

The moment I walked into the @sunrise.theater, I felt like I was at home. As a theater needs, this place made my heart explode with joy. From the staff, volunteers, and production crew, THANK YOU for the hospitality. Your green rooms are some of the best I have been in. Fully stocked and thoughtful of intentions. 10/10 recommend Sunrise Theatre for your concerts and fundraisers, they are a 501C Non-profit in the Southern Pines area providing art and music to their region! 🌟

From the music to the crowd, the performance @bringoutyerdeadband gave was top-notch. The visuals were so immaculate, it makes sense coming from some of the production at @5pointsmusicsanctuary. Every time I see this band, they impress me with their music.

They hired me as their Dead Experience Coordinator to connect the bridge from the crowd to the stage and help curate a Dead Experience. It is an absolute honor to be given the creative freedom to be my most authentic self. They truly are the kindest bunch, trying to help spread the Dead's music to a further reach beyond the grain.

I debuted my live painting experience in front of 300+ people last night, and the community welcomed me with open arms. I had patrons approach me wanting to buy my pieces, which made me feel seen and valued as an artist. 🎨

I have focused mostly on the digital coil of the art medium for decades, so my attempt to do physical art has been stunted over the years due to trauma, grief, and imposter syndrome. It is incredibly out of my comfort zone for me to paint like this because my attention span doesn't allow me, but after my mama passed away, I started to paint again the things I loved drawing as a child, eyeballs and trees.

I will finish some of those paintings this week to have at the Lincoln Theatre for Bring Out Yer Dead's summer residency date on July 26th, where I will be live painting again! Any profits I make, I will be donating 25% of them to a non-profit dear to my heart, Arise Alliance NC!

If you are interested in coming out to join me to paint, message me. We would love to have you join us at their next show! 💙 taken in Sunrise Theater by @hamjammers

I'm slowly crawling out of my rabbit hole, rediscovering myself after a tragic loss, my mama.

Community has been my anchor through the loss of my brother, husband, and mother this past decade, and I'm so grateful for the support, love, and light you have shown me as of late.

The recent loss of my mother has been particularly profound, like a severed cord, and I'm learning to breathe again. To manage this grief, I'm turning to art – not just supporting others, but creating and teaching once more.

I've been curating new paintings, one for myself and one for my God Sister. Join me for my first live painting debut at @sunrise.theater with @bringoutyerdeadband at 7:30 PM, where I'll be supporting the band during a mini shakedown.

Come dance, twirl, and create positive vibes with me! 🎨🖌️ #SunriseTheater #TheCosmicConnector #BringOutYerDead #ShakedownStreet #MamaTried taken in Sunrise Theater by @hamjammers
