📰 FEATURED IN INTERESANTE — TIJUANA VERTICAL FILM FESTIVAL 2026 🇲🇽 @somosinteresante

Thank you to Interesante and writer Alejandro Mancilla for covering the Tijuana Vertical Film Festival 2026 and featuring Young Man Kang, Director of LA WEBFEST and Hollywood Series, in this special article. 🎬

The article covers my visit to Tijuana as part of the collaboration between LA WEBFEST and the Tijuana Vertical Film Festival.

At CUT Universidad de Tijuana, I had the opportunity to give a talk titled:

🎥 “How to Produce Vertical Cinema: Storytelling for the Mobile Screen”

It was especially meaningful to meet students of communication and film and exchange ideas about how vertical storytelling is developing into its own cinematic language for a new generation of filmmakers.

The article also highlights the growing connection between Tijuana and Los Angeles, including opportunities for filmmakers recognized at TJVEFF to participate in LA WEBFEST 2027.

🙏 Thank you to the TJVEFF team, CUT Universidad de Tijuana, Interesante, and everyone who welcomed me during this memorable visit.

🎬📱🇲🇽 LA WEBFEST × TIJUANA VERTICAL FILM FESTIVAL 2026

Young Man Kang, Festival Director of LA WEBFEST and Hollywood Series, attended the 5th Annual Tijuana Vertical Film Festival 2026 in Tijuana, Mexico, strengthening the partnership and creative connection between our festivals.
@tjveff

🎤 At CUT Universidad de Tijuana, Young Man Kang presented: @cutuniversidad

“How to Produce Vertical Cinema: Storytelling for the Mobile Screen”

It was wonderful to see so many students attend the event, ask questions, and show their enthusiasm for the future of filmmaking and vertical storytelling. 🎬📱

The program also featured a special screening of “Prayer Tijuana”, part of the Prayer International Series, filmed in Tijuana and starring Grace Garcia and Sandy Zamora.

The festival continued with screenings and celebrations at the Tijuana Cultural Center, bringing together filmmakers, students, artists, festival organizers, and audiences to celebrate new voices in cinema. 🎥✨

🌎 International festival partnerships are about more than exchanging films — they are about exchanging ideas, creating opportunities, connecting young filmmakers, and building a stronger global filmmaking community.

LA WEBFEST and Hollywood Series are proud to continue developing our relationship with the Tijuana Vertical Film Festival and supporting the growing international movement of vertical cinema and mobile-first storytelling.

Thank you to the Tijuana Vertical Film Festival, CUT Universidad de Tijuana, the Tijuana Cultural Center, all the organizers, filmmakers, and especially the students who made this experience so memorable! 🇲🇽🤝🇺🇸

Vertical cinema continues to grow — and the next generation is already here. 📱🎬✨
