my client @djrayd asked me a few weeks ago for an acoustic solution for his dj school @raycademy . The goal was to reduce the reverberation in this very reverberant room, and the elements should also integrate well into the room visually. We measured the room acoustically with appropriate measuring microphones and selected the appropriate elements and their positioning on the basis of the measurement data.I’ve installed 4x broadband absorbers (2x in black, 2x in white) from the „Jupiter-Series“. We installed them directly on the ceiling above the soundsources to absorb the first reflections.
