There’s a little risk in coming to a music festival.

You give us your time and attention. You might enter a room where you don’t know anyone, spend a couple hours with unfamiliar music, allow yourself to be moved in public, or encounter something you weren’t expecting.

And there’s risk on the other side of the stage too.

We asked violist Keith Hamm what he’s noticed about the people who gather at SweetWater. He’s returned every year since 2020, so he’s gotten to know this audience pretty well.
