Nyt helmikuussa on ollut parit FWT qualifier eli Freeride world tour karsinta -kilpailut, joiden ideana on kerätä pisteitä ja parantaa omaa rankingia. Stooreissa on hieman mitä kilpailupäivä pitää sisällään itsessään🏔️

Karsintojen kautta voi lopulta päästä Freeride Worldtourille, jossa maailman parhaimmisto kisaa toisiaan vastaan. Matka tourille on erittäin kilpailtu, eli aivan peace of cakesta ei ole kyse🥵🥶

Karsintakilpailuja on 1-4 tähden (eli *) luokituksella, eli mitä korkeampi tähti, sitä arvokkaampi ja haastavampi kilpailu on. Mitä korkeampi numero kilpailussa on, sitä enemmän kilpailusta saa pisteitä, joiden avulla voi omaa rankingia parannella ja päästä eteenpäin.

Kilpailuihin ei aina noin vain päästä sisään, eli niin sanotusti kysyntää ja halukkaita näihin löytyy. Kilpailut on hyvä aloittaa ja kerryttää kokemusta 1 ja 2* kilpailuista ja näin saada jo joitain pisteitä kerrytettyä. Pääsin itse onnekkaasti jonopaikalta 3* kilpailuun sisään, joista hyvällä menestyksellä voi saada jo tosi hyvin pisteitä kerättyä🫡

The first competition of the winter season is done and dusted, and I'm still processing how the comp went down🤧🫱🏼‍🫲🏽
The flu and relatively few hours on the slopes are showing and feeling, but this was a very good experience for the future💫

Unfortunately, the 3* competition was canceled due to avalanche risk, but even that day turned out to be a very good day for skiing!🫶🏼

The Alps are delivering and have treated me well so far, even though I've had a bit of the flu (even during the comp). It's great to ski with friends who push you forward and bring out the best in you,
