Pre-order ‘Family Sleeping’, launches October 9th at Perimeter Books.
POSTS STORIES REELS
📣 Launching Friday October 9th 6pm at @perimeterbooks in Melbourne is: 📕📸 Hanako Muller‘s ‘Family Sleeping’ - CCP.PE.Z.009 ➡️ - ‘Family Sleeping’ is “an evolving body of work that gently considers the role photographs play in memory consolidation and our understanding of familial relationships. Using images from my family archive, I merge my own work within these moments as a way to explore how our individual timelines, experiences and lives can begin to morph and overlap when we are provided with visual reminders that bear a sense of familiarity. Finding echoes within intergenerational imagery, I look for comfort in photography’s ability to disrupt our linear perception of time and blur the distance between lives.” Hanako Muller @han.a.ko ➡️ - Hanako Muller is an emerging artist living on unceded Wurundjeri land. Her work explores themes of connection and identity with personal reflections on adolescence, queerness and memory. Using photography as a process to piece together stories and relationships, Hanako’s work considers the ways in which we are shaped by the people and spaces that surround us. ➡️ - CCP.PE.ZINE is a collaborative publishing initiative from the Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) and Perimeter Editions, dedicated to providing a platform for emerging photographic artists to exhibit their work in an accessible zine format. Each zine in the series – launched periodically in pairs – focuses on a single body of work by artists selected by CCP Director @dboetkers - Each zine is 32 pages, 14.8 x 21 cm, saddle-stitched softcover. ➡️ ⏰ Launches Friday October 9th, 6pm at @perimeterbooks. If you cant make it in person online preorders available now via @perimeterbooks (link in bio). - 🎶 ‘Daydreaming’, Aretha Franklin ❤️ by @han.a.ko

fuck p*ne gap and all it does and all who fund and support it. Everything intersects. We are all complicit when we don’t question the actions of our government or create conversations with those around us. Please read and sign the Hayes family letter. Understand what they are asking for in the closure of p*ne gap. It’s everyone’s responsibility to fight for indigenous sovereignty on this soil and for all stolen lands around the world. by @han.a.ko

Our beautiful, strong friend Gemma has been in Italy the last few weeks preparing to set sail with @gazafreedomflotilla They are working to break the illegal siege that Israel has on Gaza and deliver much needed humanitarian aid into Palestine. We can all best support this Global mission by keeping all eyes on the ground in Gaza, sharing information and updates, continuing to take part in civil actions and by donating directly to mutual aid. Nowhere is free until Palestine is free. by @han.a.ko
