I would like to share my passion and philosophy as a dance educator and judge. I truly love being a dance educator; seeing the hard work the dancers pour into their craft and the investment made by parents, I believe it is our job as judges to educate, encourage, and support these performers to help them grow. As a judge, you will never catch me without a smile on my face, no matter how long the hours are, because I truly love my job. I am dedicated to encouraging dancers to not only improve their technique but to push through nervousness and discomfort to build lasting confidence. Before my career as a professional dancer, I was just like the dancers I see onstage today, and I want them to know that I see them. Whether a performer is a novice or an advanced dancer, I want them to know that I recognize all their hard work and will be smiling at them the moment they hit the stage. #dancecompetition #dancejudge #dancers #competition #encouragement by @han5stead
