In 2023, I took my first solo trip to Goa and bought tickets to Ukiyo Fest at the iconic Ukiyo venue (RIP to one of Goa’s coolest spaces 💔).The plan was simple: 3 nights, 4 days of exploring Goa.Instead, I spent all three nights at the festival.I was completely enamoured by the music, the people, and the entire techno experience. Sth about that weekend just felt so captivating.At that time, I was working at a Silicon Valley-based tech startup with absolutely no DJ experience. Yet every time, someone there asked me the classic question, “So, what do you do?”, I would confidently reply:“I’m a Techno DJ.”Looking back now, it’s funny how life works.That version of me didn’t have the gigs, the experience, or the proof, but she had the belief. Today, that belief has turned into reality, even though I know it’s still a long, long way to go. To all the people who read this little bit of my journey till here, I would just like y’all to know that your words, vibrations, thoughts, energy - all are real. The only thing you gotta combine it with is your action & the magic will happen for you! Manifestation isn’t just about wishing for something, it’s about believing it before it exists, and then showing up every single day to make it real.
