This day wasn't easy for me that I really miss my kids and my heart is bleeding.
As always I tried to appear strong and spread joy even if I grief.
I tried to spend a good time with my colleagues; my second family and really I'm lucky that I have some beautiful hearts such like them.
My wish for a new year is only to be reunited with my kids and live in peace, Is it too much? Where is the kids right to live with their mum?

Hope Makers School (Northern Gaza) runs by Hanan Bushahban; she teaches by day and tutors her 400 students online by night, since she and her family were separated after a medical evacuation request was denied.

My son had open-heart surgery last Friday. Thank God, the surgery was as planned by the doctor, and he may need another one later.
I wanted to reassure you about his health and tell you that he is doing well.
However, Youssef is not living a normal life, he is a patient 10yrs who was separated from his mother a year and two months ago after he, his younger brother, and his father were evacuated from Gaza to continue his treatment outside of G@za.
Doesn't he have the right to have his mother by his side to take care of him?
Doesn't he have the right to live normally with a family that has both parents?
Why are we separated?
