Dans l’un des pays les plus pauvres au monde, existe un petit village où le surf change des vies…

Synopsis:
Dans un petit village du Libéria, pays d’Afrique de l’Ouest dévasté par deux décennies de guerre civile, des surfeurs locaux tentent de changer leur destin ainsi que celui de leur village grâce à la création d’un club de surf. Cinq ans après le documentaire “Water Get No Enemy”, le surfeur et réalisateur @arthurbourbon retourne au Liberia revoir ses amis et documenter l’évolution du surf dans le village.

Quinze années après la guerre civile qui ravagea la totalité du pays, le Liberia renaît peu à peu de ses cendres et tend vers un renouveau plus heureux. L’occasion pour les surfeurs professionnels Damien CASTERA et Arthur BOURBON d’aller à la rencontre des enfants de la guerre qui, dans certaines zones du pays, ont troqué leur fusil d’assaut contre des planches de surf.

Fifteen years after the civil war which ravaged the whole country, Liberia is slowly rising from the ashes and tending towards a happier renewal. The opportunity for professional surfers Damien CASTERA and Arthur BOURBON to meet war children who, in certain areas of the country, have swapped their assault rifle for surfboards. .
