This is what I imagine a cold plunge feels like to one of those psychos that gets up at 4AM just to be better than everyone else.

I'm gettin a guard dog just to protect the freezer!

Do you believe in Sasquatch Chips? Zany storytelling is something I really enjoy and this exaggerated true tale of my first encounter with @timscascadesnacks is my all-time favorite bit I have ever written and I genuinely miss performing it. This was the closing joke to my first hour of stand-up and I've been working hard to be ready to record my next this fall in Portland. Time flies. Can't believe it's already been three years since I recorded my first hour of stand-up 🤯 shoutout to my good friend and producer @trentubben, my brother from the unarmed services @gothlipsburger for being the sound wizard he is, and the @garlandtheater for giving me the space on @funnyfunnyfunnyjokejokejoke to get this material out of my face and into the world. Really looking forward to executing my next album here in Portland, Oregon sometime in 2027. I'm trying to make more stuff to share with the Internet again and hope it finds the right people. If you have a goofball in your life that enjoys comedy and weird art, please let them know I exist. Or maybe that's YOU and you're already here! If you haven't joined my email list, please do that becauae I have gotten better about using it when I travel and people have actually come out to shows because of it which kinda blows my mind. COLLAGE IMPROV @ Collage-O-Rama in Seattle was a blast! We ended up with enough people to give this little experiment a nice three round test run and I actually managed to make the tech work with no hiccups 🤯 Can't wait to try and do it again at other collage events and make a big paper wave in the collage world ✂️🏄✂️

Collage Improv requires 2 teams of 4 players that all have a specific function in the collage creation pipeline. (1) THE SOURCERER will determine what pieces from a prepared folder of fodder must be used for the final piece. (2) THE ALTERATER will extract some part of every source material selected by cutting or tearing them in some way. (3) THE GLOOBER must paste down all pieces in a composition of their choosing before the allotted time has expired. (4) THE BULLSHITTER spends the entire creation process in isolation and must present their team's final product as if they themselves have created this group masterpiece!

It was fun ✂️🙃✂️ and I wanna do it again because I get to riff and ramble the whole time and that is kinda my whole thing. Maybe my friends at @pnwcollagecollective will want to do this some time?! Perhaps I will talk @kolajmagazine into letting me host this at KolajFest 2027?! Maybe I will go down as the greatest comedian/collage artist combo of all-time 😍

✂️🙃✂️ my f8vorite creations from last week's incredibly fun art retreat at Sou'Wester Lodge in Seaview, Washington. It was so nice to share techniques and time with new/old friends from @pnwcollagecollective and @northwestcollagesociety

[1] "Avian Emissions" used an eraser to create smoke effects from the bird's mouth/cigarette on this high gloss print and threw that little van in the background. 🚬🐦

[2] "Quality Assurance" loved the idea of a big ol' lizard wearing a tinfoil hat with a man in it for whatever reason--too many late nights on YouTube and listening to Coast2Coast 😂 btw they ARE listening 🦎

[3] "Big Shrimpin'" never had I ever embroidered something and it took me FOR-EV-ER but the 🍄 probably weren't helping 😵‍💫 but they totally were.

[4] "Nostrildamus" he can SNEEZE into the future 🙃 it was fun to basically do typesetting with a tape transfer but I wish I could have found a better 👃

[5] "Public Pool" wild rearrangement of an image of peas spilling out of a container to fit in the pool--I really like the final product and would rarely leave the original page numbers and subtitles in the final image but it felt like it added something cool to me 🫛🏊‍♂️

[6] "Pappy Pancake" really fun tape transfer where I collaged the two images first, did the tape transfer, and then cut it out again before I laid it down 👴🏈

[7] "One Eye Open" fun prompt to use a target from the h0mie @stitchpixie and getting to use this cool 3D eye that moves when you look at it 👁

[8] "Beaver Pretzels" definitely abnormal style for me but this idea made me laugh a lot 🥨🦫

I made more art in a week than I have since @februllage and I really needed that. Opportunities for joy in my life have been rapidly rising since finding a group of people that genuinely make me feel like I am part of an actual community. Having done stand-up for 13 years, I have no hesitations saying, that on the whole, collage artists make way better friends than comics. Crazy how far some eye contact and a little listening can go!

Februllage is a collaboration between Edinburgh Collage Collective and the Scandinavian Collage Museum. This initiative invites collage artists to make a ‘collage a day’ throughout February using our OFFICAL WORD PROMPT CALENDAR – 2026.

Februllage is designed to be inclusive, and we encourage artists from all levels to join us for a month of collage making fun. Participating artists are asked to set their own goals, whether they make a collage daily or twice a week.

Digging through some old magazines at Collage-O-Rama in Seattle while I was peddling my prints and made this goofy video. This song cracks me up because it's always used in thirst trap videos but doesn't Joe Namath look like an absolute zaddy on this Jello salad 😂 I am so close to hitting 10K on IG and I haven't posted forever. Not sure if this is the kinda stuff people followed for but it's the best I can do!
