today i turn 30 ♡ i have a tendency to overlook milestones, but it's felt really important to take a second to fully appreciate being on earth this long and all that comes with it. this month also marks exactly 6 years since i took my first wheel-throwing class ꩜ since then, clay has become such a integral part of my life—my sanity, my happiness, my drive. THANK YOU for being here. i really cannot say it enough ☆ taken in Chicago, Illinois by @handheld.ceramics

a bit of process on a gas-fired cup <3 in love with the dichotomy of the initial sharpness of everything and the resulting softness from the glaze and kiln doing it’s magic
