We’re trying something new at our outlet for a little while.

We have hundreds of yarns at Handmayk - and sometimes the most interesting ones are the ones you’ve never worked with before.

It’s easy to stick with the yarns you already know.

But what if you could sit down and experiment with something different before deciding whether it’s right for your next project?

We’re setting up a small space at our outlet where you can choose from selected yarns, grab a crochet hook (or bring your own) and make a few stitches.

Try a different fibre.
Explore a new texture.
See how the yarn behaves.

Discover something you might never have considered using before.

No workshop.
No booking.
No commitment.

Just sit down, make a few stitches and explore.

Introducing LMSA by Handmayk.

Lamsa means touch.

For years, alongside Handmayk, we’ve created artworks, experimented with materials, developed techniques, produced commissioned pieces, and brought ideas into physical form.

As that side of our practice grew, it needed an identity of its own.

LMSA brings it all together.

A Dubai-based textile art and material studio combining traditional and contemporary processes through material exploration, experimentation, bespoke art and creative production.

A space where we create our own work, collaborate with others, explore materials and techniques without knowing the outcome, and develop bespoke artworks and ambitious projects for artists, designers, architects and clients.

LMSA is new. The practice behind it isn’t.
