“Mnemosyne’s Mirepoix” (Cusp of) 2021/ 2022 Angophora Burl Repurposed copper piping Central Coast Sandstone •If you find yourself seeing the year out on the farm where you grew up, in iso, with ample time for navel gazing - Whether you like it or not, it’s probably best to dance or detangle from some demons. You know the ones… That cling to your back molars, leaving a metallic taste - no matter how much you gargle with salt, wine or whiskey - don’t budge.. You may as well call them up, get to know them, tell them to pack a bag. The recommended recipe for that (resources pending) being that you absolutely ‘go for it’, with power tools on a hunk of dead wood that mildly resembles a Greaco-Roman bust, in forty degree heat for a couple of days, with barely an inkling of an end result in mind. It is by far the tidiest and most efficient way to perform an exorcism of sorts, at home. I’m three syllables away from a fridge magnet quote - but in short, a very large and obnoxious reminder to take only the essentials into each day - in mind, memory and matter. Turns out, cathartic faffing combined with peace and quiet feels much better than picking up a paint brush this time round. Have been dipping back into sculptures and it feels so, so good. A work from earlier this year, in April - about connection (ofcourse, again). ‘Pas de Deux’Repurposed Oregon Nails Linseed oil Sandstone, with a seam of ironstone o running through the top (hence the rich darker colours) Pas de Deux is French for “step of two.” In ballet, it is a duet performed by two dancers, moving together through tenderness, tension, joy, and grief. This work considers the textures of human connection - how we adapt, respond, & move with one another. Each encounter carries its own weight and significance, shaped by context, emotion & shared experience.Exploring the fluidity of relationships - shifting through gestures, adjustments & quiet transformations. This sculpture is drawing attention to these subtle patterns, revealing the ways we inhabit space together and navigate one another’s presence.All materials used have come from the property I grew up on in Maroota. Maroota belongs to the Darug people, and means place of much water, due to all the natural springs. by @handre3000

Happy Beautiful big birthday to my heart and soul, first one as a baby mumma! Wish we could be cracking a primavera under Mount Etna/ cracking some aged balsamic by the fire tonight IRL — but we have been relegated to the internet!! Thank god we developed a penchant for turning up on each others door steps when we need it the most, despite geographic proximity! Truly one life’s biggest joys getting to be alongside and love you as you travel the world creating magic - creative, chef, dancefloor deliverer and now especially on this journey of becoming parents! 💗 Plum picking for jam, at Casa Lawa, Sicily 💗Turns out you can go to every damn cathedral, wonder of the world, see every dj at sunrise in the most beautiful locations and the best part of the holiday is still the limonata & cigarette on the roadside in a tiny country town of Sicily next to the petrol station…doesn’t matter where we are or what we doing, we having the best time.
