so remember that one time when I went to Kenosha in 2023 so @timbofromkeno could tell me what he thought about the first ever HandShake snare drums? Yeah, that was cool. both snares are somewhat obscured behind this Yamaha RC kit, but the Tequila Sunrise belongs to @caasirodama In Cali and the Salesman Sample belongs to @iamdrumdrumdrum in Branson, MO. 1930's @ludwigdrumshq kit for @jordanrosedrums. These started as orphan 13" and 16" marchers and a 23.5" x 8" bass drum and now feature matching period-correct nickel over brass hardware. Ryan at @bovidpercussion custom made calfskin heads to complete the vibe and sound.

Many thanks to @itwevercoat for the Rage and Slick Sand which I used to fill original holes and grain fill the mahogany.

In lieu of not having any new drums to show off, here are a couple flashbacks. L to R -

1. Vintage @gretschdrums round badge for @badgesdrumshop - crushed glass full dress with Cadillac green

2. 15" @rogersdrums field snare in @michaelwindish full dress colors - I added Angel hoops and tom legs

3. A @soniquedrums prototype. (BTW, they make my favorite snare throw ever)

4. top to bottom - vintage @slingerlanddrums radio king in tequila sunrise, @officialtamadrums birch snare I purchased new in 1988, and another 15" Rogers field snare conversion.

The last few months have been extremely hectic in both my work and personal life. I have been mostly offline. However, I will be posting some new work here in the next few months, so stay tuned. Fresh HandShake work will return soon.
