Great visit by an awesome guy!! After many years of working together, we finally got to meet @grantallenbikerider in person! He came in all the way from Australia. You may see him in a lot of our social media as he is much less camera shy than we are. He sells our chairs in Australia through @pushmobility. Got a plan for a new ultra-light chair, built him a new off-road front-end for his existing chair and most importantly, shake hands after years of working together. We look forward to another visit or maybe an HOC trip down under…. Thank you again Grant it was a pleasure having you. by @handsonconcepts

It’s the little details that make it yours.

A custom HOC wheelchair isn’t just about choosing a frame and calling it done.

From the finish and components to the smallest personal touches, every detail can come together to create a chair that feels uniquely yours.

Swipe through for a closer look at some of the custom details on this build.

If you were building your dream chair, what detail would you have to include? by @handsonconcepts

It’s been a while so let’s show a few things like our upgraded aisle wheels and a sneak peak in the last pic of our new titanium trim that we had custom extruded so there are no tabs or screws along the trim of the side guards. There’s a few random ones in there too by @handsonconcepts

One of the top favorites lately. Two chairs in one. One main frame, two different front ends. You can also make it 3 chairs and add our HOC power wheels. The power wheels can also be added to most other Manual wheelchairs, not just ours by @handsonconcepts

Hands on Concepts can really do it all… I didn’t even mention the custom seat pan shape, easy-adjust brakes or gekko hand rims!!

Let me know what type of content you want to see regarding my chair so I can take that into consideration when planing out content between my 30 before 30 series! 🫶🏼

Love you guys!

Nothing like having a mobility aid that functions WITH your body and not against it!!! 🥹✨

I cannot WAIITTT to dance with her. Some more strengthening and preparing is needed before my spine is ready for anything extreme but I feel like someone lit the flame again in my creativity center because I simply cannot wait. It’s killing me actually.. 🥴💀

Let me know what you guys want yo see me try with the new chair or if you want comparisons, etc.! Excited for what’s to come!!

Everybody has been asking about these

Our couplers have become one of our most talked-about features lately. They make traveling with your wheel chair so much easier because you can fold your wheelchair in half to store it in the overhead bin when space allows. That means less time worrying about your wheelchair being damaged with checked luggage.

You can even put couplers on our suspension chairs! by @handsonconcepts

✈️ A wheelchair that fits in the plane’s overhead?! WHAT????

For many people with disabilities, travelling with a wheelchair is hard, if not horrendous. Chairs get damaged, lost, sent to the wrong place, and the list goes on. The thing that gives someone freedom can suddenly become the biggest source of stress before they’ve even arrived.

That’s what makes the HOC Travel Wheelchair such a game changer. It can be broken down into pieces and taken as carry-on, fitting in the overhead compartment of the plane. So when you land, your chair is protected, right above your head, ready to be put back together and roll off the airplane with you.

Accessible travel should not feel this hard, and this chair is helping change that. ♿️

Have you ever travelled with a wheelchair, if so share your stories in the comments. taken in Push Mobility by @handsonconcepts
