Honored to be included in the list of talented artists for RVA Krampusnacht by @gallery5arts this year. The theme was winter demons/spirits, so I chose to draw a Western-style animation of the Japanese snow spirit, Yuki-onna.

The original will be available for purchase tonight in a nice frame, and I have four prints for sale with part of the proceeds going to Gallery 5. I put this animation together with Procreate and Adobe After Effects. by @hangingmooncomics

Animation cell of Blackwolf from “Wizards”. @edwindorf background work really brought the warped and impure land of Scortch alive. Absolutely iconic. #scifiart #fantasyart #animation #rotoscope by @hangingmooncomics

Trying to emulate @ralph_bakshi rotoscope technique used in Wizards. Drawing and painting over live film. These scene blew me away as a kid. Swipe right to see an image from the actual film. #fantasyart #ralphbakshi #wizardsmovie #theykilledfritz #rotoscope #vintageanimation by @hangingmooncomics

We are back to work over here at Hanging Moon comics. I really haven’t been able to draw anything since the passing of my father and some other heavy punches from life. I’d like to thank everyone I asked to be involved for their patience.

Just getting these rough pencils in was a real chore but it will get easier the more I push myself. Looking forward to issue #1 in 2025.
