Well, I am C1 paddler🫶🏼
Although I could have said that last year as well, only after this u23 season I realised I can fight for something more. If it weren’t for this mistake at the end that caused 50 second penalty, even something so crazy as gold would be possible🤭

I am not devastated or disappointed. After my run I was extremely happy that I managed to do such a great performance in general. This season is not about medals, it’s about proving my worth to myself.

When it comes to kayak… semifinal in Oklahoma kinda restored my self-confidence and let’s stick to that. And hey, it’s my first u23 year! I knew it’s going to be rough.

I didn’t post anything after any of previous competitions because I really didn’t feel like it. It’s for myself mostly anyway. So I just want to thanks everyone for support - my super supportive family, my incredible, irreplaceable friends and my boyfriend @mikes_valek , my coach @marcin_pochwala1 who somehow manage to solve every problem I have, @pzkaj, my amazing team @jru23_canoeslalompol
I don’t know what to say, you are just zajebiści✨

See you next time I feel motivated to post something 😘 taken in Épinal by @haniadanek

Since those were my last competitions as a junior I feel like I have to post something and just now, thanks to @naja_pinteric1 I found some nice K1 pictures😆🩷

Of course my final run didn’t go as I planned but this is sport so I don’t feel like I failed or something. I did pretty good runs in heats and semis but in the final… well 1:0 to the gate 12😂

This year I also tried C1 and honestly I would like to continue it. I managed to get into final and show really nice run in it, but 6 penalties were definitely too much and I ended up in 6th position which, ironically, was still better than the kayak. Funny to mention, it was 3rd time I ended up 6th at Europeans. I guess I like this number.😌

Thanks to the C1 girls @julka_kirkowska and @p.a.t.i__5 we got🥉in the C1 team runs! As @stacha_canoe said ,,it was worth getting on that funny boat where you have to kneel”😂😘

Also I am so proud of my K1 girls🫶🏼 We managed to get really nice run and take 4th place🥔🥲 @zuzka.piprek, @gabrysia.jojczyk you are amazing, I promise it was not the last time when we did team runs together🥺❤️

You can say I get used to be a junior, so the u23 category will be something new, but It’s always worked out somehow, and it always will. I worked with a great coach and I really hope to continue it. I know in the beginning of u23 it will be like me on the 7th photo, figuring out how to wave the flag, but still I know it will be fire🔥🥳

Furthermore you know what? I just love that atmosphere with junior girls🩷🥹 Wishing each other good luck, comforting each other after race, smiling to each other. I am so happy for every medalist, you really deserved it🥳🌺

Thank you to everyone who supported me and the list of those people is really long, but I hope they know how much it means to me🥹🫶🏼

The World Championships ended and I’d like to share a few thoughts.
My dream came true when I won a gold medal, and suddenly I felt such a huge relief. That’s probably why I look like I’m crying in every photo!🥇🥹

I worked really hard for this, so the tension I’d been carrying since last year finally dropped when I crossed the finish line and saw that I was in first place. I was absolutely shitting my pants when I realized I got touches that added 4 seconds to my run.

These championships were amazing on so many levels. First of all, I just had a really great time. My teammates and paddlers in general are awesome. It’s crazy how many people I could share my joy with🥹🩷

You know, I really lack patience, so I’m incredibly grateful that my dad and my coach have so much of it.
Right, my dad/support/training partner/coach, this man is just amazing. He manages every problem I find unsolvable, puts up with my moods, and is simply the best support I could ever ask for🥰❤️
And my coach, the one who stayed with me after training sessions to fulfill my crazy ambitions of trying every gate combination, and who can explain a course like no one else🫶🏼✨

This year was full of sessions on all kinds of courses around the world, and I’m so grateful for that. It’s truly wonderful to be part of the national team.
Big thanks to @pzkaj for making this possible🇵🇱

Great congratulations to @barca.ondrackova and @mina.blum.e. We are real princesses girls👸🩷
