For 𝗠𝗘́𝗧𝗔’𝘀 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆, we’re excited to carefully craft a journey that will guide us like a vessel through a true 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗴𝗲 — 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹, 𝘀𝗲𝘅𝘆, 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗽𝘆, 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴.

To tell such a story, we are honored to entrust the helm of the ship to the singular and idiosyncratic 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲.

A 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲, Eduardo’s name alone is enough to make those who know him smile, as 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗝 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱.

Mixing exclusively on vinyl, his uniqueness lies in his 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰, taking us on a journey through 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺𝘀. A 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁, he will be joined by 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗘́𝗧𝗔.

The collective’s intention has always been to 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵, 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀 — like treasures brought back from distant journeys.

Such is the case with @eduardodelacalle_official, whose recent sets for the 𝗚𝗶𝗲𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, at 𝗪𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲, and at 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 and 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿 have left a lasting impression on the wandering souls of those dancefloors.

Here is the recording of my recent set at UMI club in Brussels (10/31/24). I took immense pleasure in crafting this 3-hour warm-up ahead of @manouttaspace and @lauracharlier_ . My aim was to immerse the club into the dark recesses of what Freud described as ‘Worrying strangeness’—that hidden strangeness within us all, an unfathomable mystique that shadows our existence. From this natural mystique, I sought to guide the audience through the deepest club sounds of techno, rooted in the resonances of Detroit and infused with low-end basses, adding layers of depth and reverberating intensity. 🌀♥️

I've just released a set aiming to convey a certain impression of the musical history of techno.

Spontaneously, techno and its history evoke a dark and melancholic imaginary linked to the deindustrialization of Detroit and the loss of future perspective that it signified at the time. This darkness is undoubtedly part of what resonates and interests us in the movement. However, this machinic music is not devoid of color and emotion, triggered by certain sound effects, with dub being the emblem. It is this color that I sought to rediscover in this set. Thanks to all these wonderful artists for these beautiful emotions.
